In 2024, over 1.2 million unique people used the UDisc app to find disc golf courses, record their rounds, and much more. Here we honor those among that throng of players who truly disc golfed to the max last year.
Like in 2023, we're taking a look at which UDiscers got in the most rounds, visited the most courses, spent the most time on the course, took the most steps during rounds, and more. We also added a few categories this time around: Most countries and U.S. states played in as well as who participated in the most UDisc League rounds.
The stats posted by these players is truly mind-boggling, and we think it'll be fun for any disc golf enthusiast to check them out.

Some Notes About the Rankings
There a few things worth knowing about the rankings you'll find here.
Relating to privacy:
- Out of respect for UDiscer privacy, only disc golfers who've opted to appear on public leaderboards in the UDisc app are included in these rankings.
- We never reveal any personal information about a UDiscer unless they've given express consent that it's okay for us to do so.
Relating to legitimacy:
- We used a few ways to check whether UDiscer totals from last year in various categories appeared legitimate. When there were too many red flags, we left them out of the rankings.
Additionally, one UDiscer who doesn't appear in any of these rankings this year is Kyle Harrop (UDisc name kyleharrop). Harrop is probably the world leader in most unique disc golf courses played all time. We talked with Harrop at length about his course collecting lifestyle for a post last year, so when we saw that his course count this year was so astronomical that it seemed virtually impossible, we shot him an email to ask about it.
Harrop, an avid spreadsheet keeper for his various collections who only started using UDisc within that last few years, told us that in 2024 he had put in rounds played on various courses from previous years into his UDisc account, so his UDisc counts for the year wouldn't be super accurate. He himself suggested it would be best to leave him out of rankings this year, so we've done just that. See you next year, Kyle!
Who Played the Most Rounds of Disc Golf in 2024?
These 10 disc golfers recorded the most rounds with UDisc last year:
Rank | UDisc Player | Disc Golf Rounds | Avg. Rounds Per Day | Rank Change 2023 to 2024 |
1 | battlegoat | 2,593 | 7.1 | ▲3 |
2 | mfwafw | 1,927 | 5.3 | ▼1 |
3 | rabtron3000 | 1,508 | 4.1 | New |
4 | stompymad | 1,402 | 3.8 | ▲3 |
5 | lonewolf1 | 1,130 | 3.1 | New |
6 | pkbritton | 1,101 | 3.0 | New |
7 | thebruce47 | 1,071 | 2.9 | New |
8 | bcnorval | 990 | 2.7 | New |
9 | andrewkavanagh | 913 | 2.5 | ▲1 |
10 | lordmonkeyhorse | 873 | 2.4 | New |
Despite getting in nearly a round more per day in 2024, 2023's #1 mfwafw – a Wisconsinite we got to know last year – couldn't keep up with the blistering pace set by battlegoat, who somehow upped their daily round average by four between 2023 and 2024.
Note that one round doesn't have to consist of a certain number of holes. A round on a nine- or six-hole course counts the same as one on an 18- or 24-hole.
The average UDisc rating for players in this top 10 is 222, which is around what we'd expect from experienced disc golfers.
Who Played the Most Disc Golf Courses in 2024?
These 10 disc golfers logged rounds on the most unique disc golf courses with UDisc last year:
Rank | UDisc Player |
Unique Courses Played: New to Player | Unique Courses Played: General | Rank Change 2023 to 2024 |
1 | udiscbanor | 608 | 624 | ▲1 |
2 | janderson42 | 503 | 528 | New |
3 | discgolfjones88 | 458 | 458 | New |
4 | roadto501 | 371 | 374 | New |
5 | ccox11 | 351 | 361 | ▲1 |
6 | bcnorval | 329 | 352 | New |
7 | npcoluc | 299 | 325 | ▲3 |
8 | pizzagod | 286 | 292 | Same |
9 | discrabbit | 282 | 299 | New |
10 | sjteves | 270 | 278 | New |
Though we show players' general unique course counts from 2024 above, we wanted these rankings to highlight the premier course collectors out there – and course collectors are always seeking out the new. That's why the rankings are based on the totals under "Unique Courses Played: New to Player." These numbers only include courses played in 2024 that players had not logged rounds on before the start of the year.
That said, making this distinction didn't make a huge difference. The top 10 would have remained almost the same using general unique courses tallies. The only difference would be #8 pizzagod and #9 discrabbit switching places.

- "Who's Played The Most Disc Golf Courses? Meet The UDisc #1": Kyle Harrop has probably played more disc golf courses than anyone else in the world – 3,744 at the time of publication, which is almost a quarter of the over 16,000 disc golf courses on the planet. Learn how the former aerospace company employee turned elite craft beer brewer has managed to grow his course collection to such insane heights.
- "New World Record? Disc Golfer Plays Over 900 Courses In One Year": In 2023, Brian Shultz played 939 disc golf courses in just one year. This is likely a world record, and we got him to tell us the story of how and why he did it – along with his most memorable adventures from a wild, disc-golf-filled 365 days.
Who Spent the Most Time Playing Disc Golf in 2024?
These 10 players spent the most time playing rounds of disc golf recorded with UDisc in 2024:

Hours Played | Hours as Full Days | Rank Change 2023 to 2024 |
1 | mfwafw | 1,532 | 63.8 | Same |
2 | genekouba | 1,448 | 60.3 | Same |
3 | cdg424 | 1,106 | 46.1 | New |

9 | slumisland | 849 | 35.4 | New |
10 | lonewolf1 | 845 | 35.2 | ▼3 |
Despite ranking second in rounds recorded, mfwafw (whom we know is a "he" from talking to him about his disc golf habits for last year's superlatives post) spent more time out on the course than any other UDiscer in 2024 – coming in with almost three more days' worth of disc golf last year than in 2023 when he also led this category.
UDiscer genekouba sure made mfwafw work for it, though. They beat their 2023 total by 155 hours – 6.5 days' worth – of disc golf time. Still, like in 2023, they'll have to settle for second.
Who Took the Most Steps Playing Disc Golf in 2024?
These 10 players had the highest step counts during disc golf rounds of all players with UDisc in 2024:
Rank | UDisc Player |
Steps Taken | Approx. Dist. Miles | Approx. Dist. Kilometers | Rank Change 2023 to 2024 |
1 | rabtron3000 | 6,808,570 | 3,404 | 5,479 | New |
2 | mfwafw | 4,931,580 | 2,466 | 3,968 | Same |

10 | dufvenberg | 2,730,268 | 1,365 | 2,197 | New |
2024's step count master, rabtron3000, beat last year's winning total by over 1.3 million steps. We don't know how tall rabtron is, but if they're around average height, their step count from playing disc golf last year would have been enough to cross the U.S. from coast to coast and then some.
But you don't need to go as far as anyone in this top 10 to experience the benefits of walking from rounds of disc golf. Learn more about that topic in "How Far You Walk During Disc Golf Rounds & Why It's So Healthy."
Who Played Disc Golf League Rounds in 2024?

UDisc Leagues are completely free for all players and event organizers. We also recently started supporting handicap leagues where we take over all the math so organizers can focus on running fun events where everyone has a real shot at the win.
Who Played Disc Golf in the Most Countries in 2024?
These disc golfers recorded rounds on courses in the most different countries in 2024:
Rank | UDisc Player | Countries Played In |

You'll also notice that they're the only player on this list who appears in the next section on most U.S. states played in last year.
If you're wondering why this is just a top five, it's because there was a double-digit pile-up of players who got in rounds in nine countries.
Who Played Disc Golf in the Most U.S. States in 2024?
There are by far more disc golfers and disc golf courses in the U.S. than in any other country. Here are the players who recorded rounds on courses in the most U.S. states last year:

1 | kingeric | 50 |
2 | anthonywtbeard | 48 |

T6 | bcnorval | 31 |
T6 | patoink | 31 |
T8 | brrrrrrr | 30 |
T8 | rogieb | 30 |
T8 | thedav | 30 |
Playing in all 50 states in one year is a huge undertaking – especially considering how far out Alaska and Hawaii are. Our hats are off to kingeric for accomplishing the feat last year.
Any Disc Golf Is Better Than No Disc Golf
The amount of disc golf these players got in last year is astonishing, and our hats are off to them for dedicating so much time to this healthy pursuit we all love. Not everyone can reach the heights these players have due to time restraints, course access, and many other factors, but maybe seeing what's possible will inspire you to make some space in your schedule to get outdoors and rattle some chains the next time you see the sun out and the sky a bright blue.
