Located behind and sponsored by McDowell County Early College, Universal is a technical woods course with multiple water hazards. Three ace runs can make or break a score. Follow the white arrows to navigate. Tees are NATURAL marked with yellow topped posts with simple signage.

Except for Hole #4 being vicious with briars and about unplayable, it was a decent course. Some real teepads would made it vloee to a 4 star course.

Briars need to be sprayed. Some work still needs to be done to cut down debris. Good course overall.
