About the course

Front nine can be considered simple and repetitive but it's a warm up for the back nine in the woods. Four open and 12 wooded holes. First 10 are easy to follow. The final 8 holes can be confusing but worth it. The technical shots required can leave you with the possibility of a birdie or bogey equally. Ending with the last 3 holes along a sunken creek with 18s basket in a bowl. Par 54.

Sadly, my desire to play one more OG classic course on a weeklong business trip ended in disappointment. Holes 1-8 are a little overgrown but had fun shots. Holes 9 and 10 are definitely unsafe throwing across walking paths. Holes 11-18 are an affront to good course design. Unsafe for walking let alone retrieving an errant throw. Holes 16-18 are unplayable, unpleasant to the eye, and horrible to traverse. Really unsafe throwing through the stream and the potential for negative environmental impact is not negligible. Play holes 1-10 or don’t play at all. The designer of holes 11-18 should be ashamed.

Honestly a shame that this place was left to crumble. It’s my first time being here and I could tell the back nine used to be beautiful, but just wasn’t taken care of. Honestly should pull the back nine baskets because they are still very nice
