This course was very creative but there are some concerns with holes 4, 5 and 8 sharing the same fairway. Hole 7's teeshot is a bit of a shot in the dark and while 1 was creative, would probably just make it a long straight shot to the basket instead of taking a V around the brush to keep from throwing at cars. Teepads are also incredibly close to the last holes' baskets. Overall small town so probably fine for all concerns and very creative/scenic, tweaks to any of the above would make this a pretty cool and creative course.

I recognize this was built as a project by a local student. That’s cool and I respect that any kid would show that level of initiative. Good for them. And they got some things right that they should be proud of. That said, this course is not safe and should be redesigned ASAP. It’s not just crossing fairways, which are problematic enough. The baskets are dangerously close to teepads. Hole 8 encourages you to throw directly toward a softball field. There were players in the outfield when we were throwing, easily within 50ft of the basket. We know better than to risk it, but not everyone will. This course will be played disproportionately by novice disc golfers by nature of it being at a high school. Someone will inevitably get hit with a disc out here, at which point the course could get removed anyway. Please invite someone from the local disc golf community to help redesign the layout.
