About the course

Gravel tee pads always mowed and well kept. Lots of elevation and lots of wooded holes. The course is designed for intermediate to advanced players but lots of recreational players play with no problem. Check One Vision disc golf on Facebook for any updates, people to play with or lost discs. One of the true besutiful wooded gems of north central Iowa. 3 tough par 4s sprinkled throughout this immaculately maintained course that features a good mix of tight wooded and long rip it shots with not 1 flat hole on the entire course. Wow! I did not expect this course to be this good! Starting at hole 1 with no real teepad or signage was a bad first impression. The course starts okay, but the middle is absolutely fantastic!!! Holes 5-13 are the best of the bunch; some really great course design. Hole 9 is a great technical par 4 and 11s tunnel is sweet! Even hole 5 is a nice, tighter hyzer shot. The things holding it back are the lack of tee signs/maps and the gravel teepads. I don’t mind the lack of teepads are much - the gravel works fine enough - but no tee signs/maps makes it very tough to know the holes beforehand. While I loved hole 9, it was super tough to know the hole without basically walking the whole thing beforehand. Some nitpicky things are 9 and 10s UDisc layout being wrong, 1s basket being too close to 14s teepad, and 14s basket being too close to 15s teepad. I really appreciate the signage from hole to hole, the trash bins, and the rakes for moving leaves off the pads. I would recommend if you’re driving through, it is a good, and very underrated course.

First time glow round was UDisc map mandatory. This place has some tough holes. I did 1st time glow round, place has distance, elevation & trees. I need to come back when there are leaves 😀
