Boasting premium amenities including high-end turf tee pads and impeccably groomed fairways, this course features Innova Discatcher Pro28 baskets along with a designated practice area to refine your putting skills. With a challenging par 28 layout, Lakeside DGC tests players of all skill levels with its array of obstacles, from tight tunnel shots to elevated baskets, water hazards, tree obstacles, low ceiling challenges, and out-of-bounds areas. Hole 5, a 525ft par 4, provides a thrilling opportunity for power throws. While it once hosted the 2004 Worlds event where Barry Schults secured his second world title against the iconic Ken Climo, Lakeside DGC's layout, designed by Ankeny local Seth Evans with collaborative input, offers a fresh and exciting disc golf experience that will beckon you back time and time again

I was on tournament staff for 2004 Worlds and remember the temp course. It's a decent use of the land available. Could use tee signs.

Great open style course. Turf teepads are really nice and O.B. is fun (paths/water/long grass) Wind makes it 10x better. Could use tee signs though
