This course has a lot of potential. Some challenging technical shots. Lots of fun if you can avoid the lagoon!!
@jaypaypeggy
Lost a Bondanza Sphinx 2024 behind the short basket on hole 4 if anyone finds it! My number is on it! Wind picked it up last second, right over the top of the basket. Played a 9 hole loop after being discouraged losing a disc to the wind. Difficult to find teepads for a first timer but got in the groove of the layout and had fun!
@crimsontider44
Every hole has 2 pads and 2 baskets. It was a little confusing as not all A pins were the shortest pin. Shorts to short was fun but not difficult for a 840 rated player. Most holes are in woods and some holes have water in play. Lot of variety makes it a course to visit.
@jeffintacoma
Fun course with multiple tees and baskets. Good use of land and trees for shaping shots. Do it if in the area, though can be buggy.
@johnfreitas1898
Amazing course with multiple layouts!
@cntbg23
Amazing course design with a beautiful Lagoon as the backdrop. It is clear that plenty of love goes into this course. An absolute gem .
@seisstoexist
Layouts are clearly described on the app for those overwhelmed by the variety at Lagoon. 2 active pin positions and short and long tees on every hole gives you 8 different layouts to play. Longs play 5-7 strokes harder. Shot variety is very solid; good balance between forehand and backhand. Water is in play on 4 holes, and there's a great mix of wooded and open. Next tee arrows are on the signs, indicators are on the baskets, and there are some extra signs where needed.
@jgray35458
One course with several different layouts to challenge you at any level. There is a short to short layout for beginners and recreation players and a long to long to challenge advanced players and give you a chance to throw all your shots. There’s is no elevation change so playing a few rounds in a day is possible. Concrete tee pads on all holes. Organized league play on the weekends you can just check the river region disc golf facebook page.

Great course!!
@jleach15
Needs to have one kind of basket in longs/shorts. Difficult to see which was the long basket. Guys car window gotten broken while I was playing, otherwise great course
@strebs
Really solid course with some fun water features. Definitely a little swampy, but a good blend of open, longer par 4s and some technical wooded play.
@lafayette
Work in progress. Could be real sloppy if it rained during summer watch fir snakes.
@talex256
Loving everything about this course now. Played it before and after pads were poured. Brought my girlfriend and she loved the scenery and everything about the course. 10/10 keep up the good work!
@rcarter2184
Great course, really starting to get cleaned up and looking great! Awesome job to the team and River Region Disc Golf. New concrete pads are being installed on short and long tee pad locations. Long course is very challenging and requires accuracy and good shot shaping ability.
@reichmusic
Nice job- Visiting from dc- Have a zeus swimming about 30 feet from The waters edge around hole four short basket- Hate leaving one behind
@dustinsaboe
Fantastic course excellent shot shapes good shot variety and very well designed challenging, yet Fair holes.
@trainhopper
Fun round with a little bit of variety. If course is crowded stay alert. Many tees are very close to other baskets and fairways.
@mrjonestech
New signs are great and helpful for finding baskets. The different placements make for some interesting shot choices on the shorter holes. Nice mix of wooded with a few open holes in between to throw some long drives. On its way to 5 stars once there is more time to clean up the brush and improve the tee pads.
@leroy05
This is a great course with opportunities to use multiple disc angles to maneuver through the tree lines. The new 5x10 tee pads give allow for multiple lines.
