About the course

Main parking area is right off N Eastern Blvd (service road that runs parallel to Hwy 231/the bypass) under the big advertising billboard. There's additional parking on the other side of the course right off the service road by Hole 11. Once you park, walk into the entrance where the metal gate is. Every hole has 2 pads and 2 baskets. It was a little confusing as not all A pins were the shortest pin. Shorts to short was fun but not difficult for a 840 rated player. Most holes are in woods and some holes have water in play. Lot of variety makes it a course to visit.

Layouts are clearly described on the app for those overwhelmed by the variety at Lagoon. 2 active pin positions and short and long tees on every hole gives you 8 different layouts to play. Longs play 5-7 strokes harder. Shot variety is very solid; good balance between forehand and backhand. Water is in play on 4 holes, and there's a great mix of wooded and open. Next tee arrows are on the signs, indicators are on the baskets, and there are some extra signs where needed.
