Ancient Ruins exploration journal 1st tee was a trust throw into a treacherous ravine. Pin 5 elevated in the brush. Hole 7 played up a waterfall. Balked at playing 8-9 and pin 11 at the top of the world. Scared to venture beyond #12 and turned back to find 19 basket missing and hole 20 pin devoured by thorns. Loved finding hidden steps dug into the hillsides. Could be awesome, but nature has reclaimed this gem.

Could be super challenging but has been pretty much abandoned. Three baskets missing.

A course that could be great for the area, but the only positive going for it currently is that baskets haven’t been pulled out yet. And even that might not be a strong enough reason to come here.

This is such an amazing course. I got the privilege to play here a few times before it was completely given up on, but I seriously love the setup and how the course plays. Unfortunately, the town and club has completely given up on the maintenance and the place is nearly unplayable. There’s a few baskets that are missing, the sewage smells horrid, and everything is horribly overgrown. I hate it happened, great course design but hey Rolling Pines is 2 minutes away 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

When I started my round, I felt like this course had massive potential and needed to be revived... until I couldn't stand the sewage stench anymore and quit halfway through. If anything, please salvage the baskets and relocate!

Way underrated! Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. The only basket that is missing is number 16 that was removed for construction on the road. The course is definitely playable. I highly recommend late Fall, Winter or Spring. Mostly wooded with alot of elevation changes. It gets really grown up in the summer when the leaves come back. It is the most beautiful course I have played! What course has a waterfall hole!?! If the gate is closed you can park near the gate and walk in.

This course used to be good. It has been abandoned. There is no signage or discernible paths, multiple missing baskets, and everything is entirely overgrown. Hopefully it’ll get the TLC it needs to be good again.

Don’t waste your time until winter. Abandoned, unplayable during any warm part of the year.

nice design, but missing 3 baskets and is not kept up really at all. Would be a 4 without those two things. Don’t play in the summer - May lose discs in the underbrush.

Truly a good course. Definitely needs some attention to the transition paths and fairways. Two hole have tone poles and the one open bomber hole basket is gone all together. Still playable. Also idk what it was on this day but a horrible smell lingered on almost every hole. Did not help the trek up and down hill sides any better.

Signage here is okay. Course seems neglected. Multiple baskets were missing. Very hilly terrain. Probably a one and done course for me personally.

Seems like it could be a great course if it was maintained. Unplayable for the most part.

Nearly unplayable at this point. Missing 3 baskets and badly unkept. I used to like this course. Sad.

Course design is amazing, but upkeep is not looking good. Trees down everywhere and Briars have taken over most paths.

Neat, wooded holes. However, paths are overgrown, baskets are in poor condition, and tee pads are not clearly marked.
