About the course

Very hilly Heavily wooded Water in play on 9 holes It's called Highland Hills for a reason. It's hilly and a great walk (plus, the park is named Highland Municipal Park). Open from sunrise to sunset. Scorecards are in the mailbox by the first tee. Major elevation. Three sets of tees: red, white, and blue. Very memorable pin placements (for example, on top of three tractor tires, hanging from an artificial tree branch, behind a bamboo wall, and IN a creek!). Fun course! Recent changes and issues with property lines meant 2 baskets had to be removed also had some baskets stolen so there is now one tone pole. Holes 8 and 9 where removed.

Ancient Ruins exploration journal 1st tee was a trust throw into a treacherous ravine. Pin 5 elevated in the brush. Hole 7 played up a waterfall. Balked at playing 8-9 and pin 11 at the top of the world. Scared to venture beyond #12 and turned back to find 19 basket missing and hole 20 pin devoured by thorns. Loved finding hidden steps dug into the hillsides. Could be awesome, but nature has reclaimed this gem.

A course that could be great for the area, but the only positive going for it currently is that baskets haven’t been pulled out yet. And even that might not be a strong enough reason to come here.
