@mikelennett
With the snow on the ground it was easy to follow the several sets of footprints from hole to hole. This was good since it was my first look at this course. Lots of trees but well placed drives got around most of them.
@daubs74
Nice course. Wide variety of shot shapes, lots of tripping hazards! Wear hiking boots
@karlseitz
The land and course layout is top notch. This has 5 star potential!!! Need better tee pads, preferably longer and brick pavers. Tee signs updated and permanent would be the final touch. Could easily be a premiere top 5 course in CT with some work!!!!!
@waregg1986
Imagine reading about a fairytale walking through an enchanted forest. Glad I made the trip from danbury. Totally worth it. Great course.
@generik10
Had a really good round playing the green tees here for the first time. Course isn’t the prettiest and there’s some missing tee pads for greens, but overall I like the course and would make the 40 minute drive to come back to play golds 👍🏻
@goosetav
A hidden gem of a course on a mode- rately forested perimeter of a pictur-esque pond in a CT town park. It could use better wayfinding on some holes and some decent tee pads on most holes.
@scottrdagostino
Fun beginner course. Tee pads need work. Baskets are forgiving. I had a bag but O would say cart friendly
@discgolfphoenix
HPDG is a nice opportunity for a change of pace from the usual course. It offers a Green (beginner friendly) and Gold (challenging) layouts. The fall season has enormous amount of leaves down so mark your throws well. The Green layout is fun for the novice to fine tune game, build confidence, and take several Ace runs. This course these a little TLC as some signs are falling over and the cards are laminates. But signage is accurate. Watch for Green and Gold stakes marking the directions. Some holes diverge so the clay outs vary a little. Very little amenities; NO DOGS allowed, NOT cart friendly, no restrooms.
@keating
I started in the back 9. Absolutely loved it. The front 9 is the same shot on EVERY hole. Adjust that, and uniform tee pads and this is a hidden gem no more.
@jedwavis
Very fun course! Bring bug spray
@jkettle
Green was a nice easy fun course. Quite wooded but nice technical lines to work with and shape some good shots. Golds seemed like a good challenge but haven't played it yet.
@skyy845
Haven't been in a year. Course looks great. I love the addition of the par 4 on the back nine and the 18th hole changed to a par 4 feels great.
@dziggs
1/2 the course has terrible basket locations. Fairways need cleaned up (ie. trees and wild plants). Teepads are either terrible or non existent. Course needs some TLC from either the designer or the community, but I dont see that happening.
@modemanabides
Fun, well-designed course that keeps getting better and better. The shorter layout is really fun for a quick round
@rocdoogie
The entire course is clean and pet restricted. Not cart friendly but fairly easy to navigate. Green is mix of ace runs and short technical shots. Gold is challenging and fair. Tee pads are in serious need of replacement.
@controlz
Great low-key course. Scenic, technical and fun. Excellent signage. Best tee pads in the state
@phipps66
Coming along really nicely. Can’t wait to see it when the other 9 holes are finished. The little arrows are very helpful to help navigate. Will be a gem once pads and signs are complete.
