About the course

Diamondhead Lake in Dexter Iowa used to boast an 18 hole championship level golf course back in the 1970’s and 80’s. However, since the spring of 2021 it’s been transformed into a championship level disc golf course. The course starts out with a couple of tight technical shots and then kicks back into the fields for some distance where you can let em rip. Getting out of here with par should feel like a big win! Plenty of par 4’s and holes to score on, as well as some birdieable par 3’s. Water hazards and unique greens make for an interesting and challenging round. Temp signs are up. Still a work in progress but we'd love to hear your feedback. This course will only continue to improve over time, and will host some amazing tournaments. Contact us to come play a round 🤙

Tough play but gives you a challenge. Lots of tight lies with skill shots and bring your arm there's some beefy shots out there. Nice mix of woods and open shots. They've done a ton of work since its inception. Great course!

So much work has gone into this course in the last year. It's unrecognizable from its former state. It is clearly a top five course in the state with challenges for all skill levels and a wide variety of shots with beautiful scenery and fantastic amenities. With the promise of new baskets arriving this coming season, there is nothing holding this course back from anyone's must hit list.
