I don’t give out 5 stars but the work they’re currently putting into the course earned it. They have a vision for growth, options for beginners to pro and an obvious passion. 🔥❤️🥏

We played wildcat bluff shorts for the first time on Friday July 4th (iowa #1 rated course) and played happy acres on Sunday July 7th for the first time. Nothing against wildcat it's a great course and longs are definitely championship level. But happy acres is a better course. The hole designs are better. The extra obstacles added to the course are better. Our course guides were amazing hosts. Although not needed to navigate the course way finding was easy, it was obvious where the next hole tee is. Tee pads are great. A couple were a little smaller than I would like but that also adds to the challenge on short holes. Most were perfect. Tee signs were accurate multiple island holes with fair drop zones for missed islands and mandos. I took so many pictures. We didn't play a hole I didn't like. Tour pros would smash here like anywhere else but for the rest of us this is iowa number one course in Iowa in my opinion. I can't wait to play a sanctioned tournament here. For reference I shot +6 at wildcat shorts and +4 at happy acres. I didn't putt great either day I missed the same number of c1 putts at both courses. Very comparable challenge.
