Two stars because it is possible to play this as a disc golf course. Course maintenance is non-existent; looks like it hasnt been touched since it was installed.

Spider webs everywhere, poor hole design, all the same shot

Played for the first time yesterday along with my daughter, who’s a student at VT. As many reviews note, navigating this course is next to impossible even with the UDISC app. We got lost between hole 13 and 14 due to a lack of adequate signage and ended up on the other course. Gave up playing after walking in circles and had to use our Maps app to find our way out. It made for a good memory and a few laughs. Bring extra water and hire a Sherpa.

Fun course but it needs some work. Bring a pack mule to get from 5 to 6 and 15 to 16 😅

Short holes but pretty heavily wooded, not a lot of genuinely easy shots. Definitely keep Udisc out because signage is non-existent and it's super easy to get lost especially on the walk from 5 to 6. Teapads are just ruts in the dirt but like a lot of folks said a little TLC and this would be a really fun short/technical course

Awful layout, navigation between holes is confusing and convoluted. No clear tee pads, just semi (sometimes) flat patches of dirt. the alt tee pads are pieces of wood in the ground you have to go on a scavenger hunt for. This is all compounded by the fact that the actual holes are annoyingly easy, so you're left thinking what the point of it all is. You have to walk like 5 minutes between a few different holes, and the last two or three you're hiking up a 45 degree incline the whole way. Don't play this course. In addition to sucking as bad as it does, it looks like it hasn't been touched in 20 years

Front 9 needs maintenance and the course overall needs better navigational directions

Directions poor to none. Great hike with baskets all over the place. Your guess is as good as mine as to where you are and where to go.

No upkeep, tee boxes are frustrating, but course is a good hike with discs.

The golden bear course is beautiful and has some fun shots. The paths between holes are very slippery though and the wooden beams used to stabilize are disintegrating, making it dangerous to go up and down.

Would be an absolutely amazing course with some upkeep. Variety of uphill and downhill. You are basically going for a hike during this round.

Beautiful 19 golden bear course was fun. Some pretty steep inclines to negotiate. Bring good shoes. Short course, but technical and fun.

Greatest course I have ever seen on a landfill. The methane pipes give it a certain je ne sais quoi

My friends and I played the Golden Bear layout. Super fun, truly is an unique course. It really is a hike with a side of disc golf, which I personally like more than open courses. Beware this course would be unplayable in any precipitation. There are a ton of steep slopes with lots of mud. There is also a lack of tee boxes, which this course badly needs to be safe. Would be a 4+ star course if it was maintained more and had tee boxes.

Holes are well designed. Needs maintaining. Everything is really grown up.

2 cars were broken into in the parking lot. Keep valuables out of sight and lock your car when playing. Each course is short with the elevation and/or heavy woods providing a challenge. Scrambling is difficult. Dirt/gravel tee pads are in awful shape and signage between holes is spotty to guide you on long hikes between holes.

Fun course. I call it hiking with a purpose. Lots of upkeep occurs, but green stuff grows all the time and trees fall sometimes. It is always cleaned up nicely before the tournaments held here in May and October, so those are the best times to play the course to ensure the green stuff has been cut and the fallen trees have been cleared. Tee pads and signage would be awesome, but also understandably difficult on the teepads with there not being any car, truck, or even cart/4wheeler access.

Fun course, but not well maintained. Needs a lot of work. A lot of Tee areas are pretty rough/terrible.
