Looks to be growing into a pretty sweet course that will require some tight shots. Basket for 8 is missing, and the course leaves you about 1/4 mile from your car at the finish as of right now.
@jlin428
Nice beginner to intermediate level course. Classic New England woods course with mostly tree obstacles yet not overly punishing. Short and sweet for a quick round or two.
@tkdchuck03
Fairways are minimal if not non existing. Off “fairways” the underbrush makes for easy loss of disc. Just needs to cleared a bit. Made a little more beginner or recreational player friendly. Not a course that would entertain good to great players and not a course for beginners. Just needs to be opened up a bit. Could be a great course!
@billyscrim
This is my local course and I play here 2/3 times a week. If you want to play disc golf without tree's this is the not the course for you! Most of the courses around here are built into the woods, so shot shaping and knowing your lines are key and it may take a couple of times to play here to get the lines, but they are there! The Spellman Park crew puts a LOT of effort into making it as nice as possible, far more than I've seen at a lot of courses, so shout out to them, thank you! Hopefully they get the other 9 built and have it loop back to the parking lot, that's my only big con here is the course finishes opposite direction of the lot. Recently put a little putting basket in next to the lot too 👍 This course is definitely a little gem and I enjoy playing it!
@tkdchuck345
Lots of ferns on the main course making it easy to lose a disc while still being in the open.
@slimp7
Short 9 hole course, all par 3’s with a few picturesque fairways. I only liked a couple of the holes, many of them seemed like you needed to rely on luck to have a shot at the birdie. The course was pretty overgrown when I played it.
@brianphillips
Nice solid 9 holes.. needs some weed slipping
@n8barton
Top notch 9 hole course, requires variety of shot shapes. A ton of fun to play with the elevation and well laid out hole design. Good signage and pretty too!
@barton1js
Excellent 9 hole course! Well maintained, great signage and tee areas. Really fun shots and thought out design.
@bgrinovich
Awesome short course, good mix of elevation and path, will definitely be playing again, like right now!
@billthecrusher
Super fun 9. Great use of the land. Trees and cool rocks galore. Shorties. Glow round successful. They even have lights by the tees and baskets for night golf. 5 star if an 18. Long walk from 9 to parking by hole 1
@jajoha
Par 3 course with some demanding lines, rough OB, and difficult approaches. Signage, tees, and baskets are great and visable. Excited to see this expanded to 18. Fun challenge.
@drdisque
Challenging technical course. Par is respectable on any hole. Good signage and great tee pads. Note: when you come off the green of hole nine, head down to the picnic area and then follow the road around to the right to get back to the parking area. This is the one place that signage is lacking.
@rowdyrodydiscr
Tee pads and baskets are the best part of this course unfortunately. Way too many trees in fairways absolutely no lines that are wider than 5ft, poor layout all around every hole is set up for a backhand flex line. Was very disappointed in this course had high hopes. Definitely not a course for a beginner.
@milesknight
As far as public nine-hole courses go, far flung is as good as it gets! A fun mix of shots and a little elevation, and excellent teepads that could fit right in at Maple Hill! This is absolutely a local favorite :)
@patsrockursox69
Well done free to play course. Par 3 9 hole. Great visible baskets.
@smotpoker1987
Love this course but it needs a disc return box. Someone was kind enough to let me know I left a disc behind and by the time I got back to where they left it for me someone else had already taken it. I'll be looking for you playing with my pink and green crave!
