About the course
Free 9-Hole Disc Golf Course at 1 Spellman Drive in Spellman Park. There is a small parking area designated for disc golfers east of Hole 1. Overflow parking is available in the large central lot between the Playground and the Soccer fields (situated between Tee 1 and Basket 9). Total walking distance from beginning to end is about 3,000 feet.
History
Proposed by Matthew Cunningham of Far Flung Enterprises to the Town of Stonington Recreation Department in March, 2020.
No municipal or other public funds used for development.
Grand Opening October 20, 2022 (9 Hole Course).
Expansion to 18 Hole Course Completion Date Estimate: February 2026

Super fun 9. Great use of the land. Trees and cool rocks galore. Shorties. Glow round successful. They even have lights by the tees and baskets for night golf. 5 star if an 18. Long walk from 9 to parking by hole 1
