@kingtut17
Very good course needs a couple trees down and could better use the river as a obstacle but from the shorts it is one of the best 9 holes in the state
@tameeks
I'll never play here again. There was water 3-5 inches deep on nearly every fairway. One green was underwater. 3 muddy holes. Buggy everywhere.. Too much tall grass in play. Spent more time looking for disc's than playing for the 1st time in 10 years. And 1st time I've lost a disc in 12. Skip this course unless you like frustraron.
@gloper13
I really wish that I could rate this course higher but, in all honesty, it is one of the worst courses that I have played. This course has tee pads made of pavers and rough that makes finding discs very challenging. Be prepared to deal with stinging nettle. Hole three brings the river into play in a way that almost assures the loss of a disc. There are far better courses close by that I would choose to play before Empire.
@aknelson01
Not for beginners. Thought it would be a fun challenge. Couldn’t make it more than 3 holes because the mosquitoes were SO extremely bad. No one else was there playing tho if that’s your thing.
@garrettbrooks52
Decent beginner course. Loose gravel tee pads need to be redone.
@isnull
Relatively boring and the tee pads are terrible.
@jonnyt123
The only thing going for this course is that it has some technicality. Besides that, the layout isn’t overly interesting and the tees are bad. Playing this blind with UDisc made was still confusing.
@njheuer8605
Clean, good enough signage that we figured it out, has trash cans.
@robraincock
A lovely 9 with a water feature. The white tees are challenging for a MA3 player.
@slntdsc
Illogical routing and non sensical course design. Don't mind the field holes, 3 and 4 are actually pretty good too but the rest should just be redone.
@mojomonkey
I want to like it more but the tee boxes are not good. Loose rock and gravel is not a good
@tonypr82
Baskets are nice. It's kept up well as far as the grass. Some of the signs are broken. There aren't too many different shots, a lot of wide open. But a good short course overall.
@thedominantlock
Lots of ace runs, a handful of technicals that make it worthwhile.
@matthewwyka
Decent course. Mostly midrange and putter friendly, with a few chances for fairway drivers and the signature “driving range” long par 4/5. Not a destination course, but worth stopping by if you’re in the area. I only only encountered 3 other players which was nice
@jacobpauly
Small local course. Well kept fields. Gravel tee pads which could be better, but I’m also not one to complain about free local courses
@cpeterson6
Mostly short holes. Some fun tight lines. One water hole. Gravel tee pads are tough to get a good footing on.
@whitlockpotato
Lack of maintenance takes a course that should be a great little course with a few truly hard shots into a somewhat difficult to play course only because you can’t find Discs
@bzishka
Good course to play on a calm day, pretty upset i lost a brand new firestorm in the water on hole 3, careful, its a fast hidden river
