Well maintained, could use an arrow or indication for the next hole is only desire.
@atllyons
Beautiful course with multiple layouts with some elevation in play. Biggest issue is Ray Charles and Helen Keller teamed up putting hole 2 in a hidden spot from hole 1. The sweet smell of the chronic was enjoyed at the main clubhouse both before and after the round.

After playing Vallarta, Hierstand, and Capital Speings, this is WITHOUT A DOUBT the best course in Madison. They have a great variety of holes with the long/short, red/blue baskets. All the holes were fun. Would highly recommend if passing through on I90.
@nfairley
Nice. Long wasted space between holes. Only downside
@pointsi
Beautiful course and park! Fully loaded amenities, well signed, friendly ppl, good course design with elevation. 18th hole is epic downhill. Some holes are hard to find blue basket on first try.
@joshschloe
Perfect mix of elevation and woods with a good selection of tee pads and holes
@midknight
Multiple layouts, nice shot variety, lots of elevation changes. Great course.
@tomsdiscgolf
Lots rough treelines inside c1 and a few within bullseye, even on the 400+ft par 3s. Frequent teepads within c2. Several poke and hope holes. Lots of options due to the multiple layouts from beginner to advanced provides good replayable.
@jcporter81
Fun course. Some tee pads could use a little love. Once you get up top and then into the woods, the course really becomes fun and picturesque.
@strooz
Best course in Madison.

2025: most basket areas need work. Rotting timbers around a couple baskets, basket areas need maintaining due to washout. One might ask how the fees are being used to maintain the course. Course needs needs some TLC. 2024:Enjoy the course. About the fifth time I played it. Elevation and trees make for a great challenge. Fair amount of washout on parts of the course by the baskets. A suggestion would be more chips.
@stevesimer
Great course, good signage, very fun!

After playing the ‘short Reds’, I’d rate the front nine a 4.2 and the back nine a 4.8. A shame the layout is inconvenient for playing a quick 9 holes on the back nine:( PROS: • 2 teepads/2baskets on every hole(obvious). • great detailed signage • hole designs are challenging by requiring a variety of different shot shapes. • a great finishing hole that throws down a steep sledding hill! CONS: • while the redesign of holes 2–4 are fine; had hoped they’d have continued with creative changes to holes 5 and 6, which are the two boring holes on the short Red layout, offering little challenge other than occasional wind. • for golfers who are not regulars, the directionals our poor. Without UDisc, you’ll get lost. Simply investing in plastic arrows to attach to baskets would be a big help. • some of the tree branches on the back 9 have become overgrown and need trimming. In particular, hole #18 from the short tee pad has become a low canopy shot, taking away the thrill of watching the high-arching downhill bomb.
@dgsupernova
Some broken and uneven tee pads. For the 2 dollar price increase, I'd respectfully expect more benches and trash on every hole
@cpeterson
Great course, kind of tough to follow at times but beautiful looking course
