DORR TOWNSHIP PARK = 3.5 TEEPADS: 1 / 1 FAIRWAYS: 1 / 1 ROUGH: 0 / 0.5 (SOME TOUGH ROUGH AROUND RIVER, AND FENCE OB ON 16 IS PRETTY DAUNTING) BASKETS: 0.5 / 0.5 INTERFERENCE: 0 / 0.5 (FRONT 4 HOLES SUBJECT TO LOTS OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC, SOME CROSSING FAIRWAYS) WAYFINDING: 0 / 0.5 (FAIRWAY DIRECTIONS ARE OFTEN UNCLEAR) AMENITIES: 0.5 / 0.5 MISCELLANEOUS: 0.5 / 0.5
@intymidator
Boring. Holes 3 and 18 provide the only variation. Other than that, it is a game of throw some discs in a field.
@dermyy
Honestly I prefer Salem park nearby over this course, but it’s got a lot of potential. There are many small saplings planted in the mid portion of the course and I think it’s going to turn out beautifully. Some of the baskets are close to fences or near property and I wish they were a little further away. Has some long and short shots that are all fairly open without too many obstacles. Additionally, the creek running thru the middle of the park seems very polluted. I grabbed a disc out of it and now my clothes have a strong used motor oil smell.
@mlabotomy
I can see it. I see what they're going for, and legit, in 10yrs, when the trees start getting bigger, more mature, this course is gonna be a beaut. For now, good layout, open and forgiving, enjoyable. Needs new signage.
@jakedogggg12
Park is very clean. This is the first time playing since the course has been revamped and it is awesome. The layout change on a few holes is awesome. Plenty of trees have been planted which will be great in the future. Great course for all levels of skill.
@greatangus
A clinic on how the basics can still make a great course. Hard to make flat and open compelling, but a great variety of distance across holes. Plays between two tiny creeks and absolutely makes best use of space. Great baskets, signage, tee pads, facilities, trash cans throughout. Course flows great. Exceeded expectations.
@jillseif
Great course!!! Signage could use some improvement…. Course is literally all open. Bring plenty of fluids to drink on a hot summer day. Easy to lose discs in creek in few spots if you’re not careful
@evidentlytall
Pretty open course. There's some variety in holes for parts of the course but then very similar shots for other parts. Some danger on windy days and with the creek but over all not much. It's fun to come pit in the open but not challenging or worth a trip here.
@chris105
I try very hard not to criticize courses, as it is not my time, money and work that went into designing a course. This course was kinda difficult to navigate.
@betasmoke
Love the new layout
@ktallent17
I lost 2 discs here today (9/8/23) A black/orange short and left of the pin on #15 & lime green left into the trees just past the fence on #16. $$$ reward if returned.
@earnold
Simple
@xxjbutsxx
Great open course for focusing on technique without loosing discs. New longer layout.
@gcote428
Very wide open, back and forth course.
@offthechainzzz
It's really just the field holes that are monotonous. They did change it up a bit so there's a few longer holes. Just a lot of time spend in the wide open. Not a technical course.
@brodad
New layout is awesome! Nice job! Only 16 holes though🤷🏼♂️
@tpotter4
Great beginner course, very open and pretty short
@pateradactyl
Great for working on drives...submitted map to help people find the holes...only one I had trouble with was 4...dont throw over the ball field..that’s 10..few holes could use some mowing and the tee pads need a few extra feet in length but overall decent course for the space
@beefingr
I love the layout. Personally, I'd like to see the pads be longer. 4, 10 and 11 could use a tiny bit of clearing for the lines...especially on Hole 10 so you can see the basket. Perhaps a mow, even if it is fairways only. The course is young but incredibly fun. Highly recommended for newer players or those wanting to get good at field work.
