Very fun, mostly open, elevation changes, mostly visible baskets, quick play course in a state park! Some views feature too much parking lot to call it stunning, but you do have the lake off to one side for a handful of throws and there is a lot of grip it and rip it going on. Not so sure you will use your midranges all that much if you have an intermediate arm, but you can use a few drivers and go after the basket on some holes and finish off with your putters. 1 of 3 courses at the park, said to be the easiest. Pretty stress free.

Great course, good views.

This is the best maintained of the three (at least when I played). It’s a much more open course than Red and Blue but still provides some good shot shapes, big shots downhill and a great time! Needs better mowing in spots and better signage but is worth a trip out especially with the other two courses on the same property. This was my favorite of the three.
@lordtamale
Fun park course that makes for a real blast in the winds. Cool elevation shots.
@deweyfortytwo
Really liked it, just needs a little more navigation, and this would be a great course to add some true beginner tees and complete the site.
@kmillz8370
A very well maintained course a lot of open shots where u can go backhand or forehand but dont let that fool ya this course can trip you up. Wouldn't definitely recommend and would play it again
@aezell34
This course is much more open in comparison to the Red Course. Purple doesn't have any holes that I would consider wooded but you are in the woods at times. There are some low ceiling shots that are pretty fun and challenging. The only hole that wasn't enjoyable was hole 6. It is a very steep up hill with some trees to miss. A generous par 4, but in comparison to the rest of the course was a change of pace that wasn't fun to play for me at the time. There are available restrooms which is a plus. Purple course is a bit easier than the Red course from the conditions I played in with playing them back to back. With this course being a bit easier that does not make it worth less to play.
@mkertland
Good beginner course but disappointing for me. Much shorter and less technical than the red and blue courses were the last time I was there before purple got installed. I hope the new red and blue do not mirror these changes. Course is well maintained but the purples are not worth the hour drive for me.
@jeffgajecki
The description says “slightly woods”, but a few holes has several trees on them but most of the course was wide open fields shots with a few trees near by. Definitely a fun bomber course in the fields. Most of the holes in the sun so I recommend playing this course in the least heat of the day.
@sephcoster
Very well maintained mix of park and woods with elevation. Some short holes that overlap a bit. Good for long arms and noodle arms alike. Really loved hole 9 - uphill through the trees with grass fairways.
@ottobeals
A lot of pot holes so watch out while walking! Other than that great course with a beautiful view. Though a good number of holes are near the road so watch out for cars
@rohlersk8s
Hole 3 teepad is becoming overgrown, otherwise well maintained.
@cntbg23
Really fun if you putt with confidence. Super beautiful and well maintained. Will be back to play other courses in the park. On of my faves in the area so far.
