Purple layout feels like the park is letting you see what Codorus can be when it leans into big views and fun shapes but nearly as punishing as Red or Blue. Purple is a mix of wide-open “nothing in the way” holes and some tighter stuff, but the main theme is space… with danger. The park roads weave through the layout and act as OB, so even when it looks wide, you still have to throw with purpose. It’s not just “bomb and hope.” This course has a ton of personality. There’s hardscaping, with retaining walls, elevated baskets, and little touches that make it obvious the people who built it really, really care about the experience. It feels polished. Honestly, it has a world-class feel: beautiful views, fun lines, and the kind of holes you remember after the round. Wooded holes: legit challenging, and the rough can still bite if you miss your line—same “Codorus rough” consequences. Open holes: pure fun. This is where you get to crank one loose and actually enjoy watching a full flight. I really have no complaints. Purple is beautiful, it’s fun, and it’s the kind of course that’s worth the drive by itself. If you’re coming out to Codorus and you only have time for one course, Purple alone is absolutely worth it.

Beautiful course. A little breezy by the lake. Mostly open holes. Some raised baskets. Tee markers on the baskets would have been nicer
