About the course

2025 Cross Country Schedule (Course will be closed): - Tuesday, September 9th - 3:00 pm - Wednesday, September 10th - 4:30 pm - Monday, September 29th - 3:00 pm - Tuesday, September 30th - 4:30 pm Completely redesigned in the summer of 2023, the new Carter Park disc golf course is ready to welcome new players and challenge experienced players while providing a significant improvement in safety! The course also has great equipment with ChainStar Pros and new 12' x 5' teepads. This course plays through a very well maintained public park close to BGSU's campus. There are lightly wooded areas along with open shots. For as flat as Bowling Green is, many of the holes provide a beautiful backdrop with Bowling Green's scenic water tower and greenery. Carter Park also offers a unique experience as it incorporates several mulched flower beds throughout the course that play as hazard. The updated layout maximizes the available space in this highly utilized park. Players will be challenged with their shot shaping and decision making.

50/50 on this course. Played over 400 dg courses. I don't like holes that you tee off, walk back to the tee to play the next hole, or holes that are 400 ft plus walk to the tee, then another 400ft walk back to a next tee. Flow= -1 star. Holes are ok, bit repetitive on shorts, bit better on longs. Couple walks makes holes 16 and 18 worth skipping. Ok for a fun round, could have better flow and tons of park space to improve/use.

A shorter park style course. Looks like they had limited land to work with. Many similar shot types, with some holes having funky lines. Meh, could have been better.
