About the course

Thanks to the brilliant work of two PDGA Legends, Avery Jenkins and Dana Vicich, this course is now open and ready for you to start chucking! It's a smaller but absolutely fun 9-hole course with some fantastic shot shapes and nothing too technical on almost every hole. Water can come into play for some bigger arms but is easily manageable. This is definitely the perfect course to start learning if you are a beginner and a excellent course to hone your skills for more advanced players. (There is also talk of re-doing the other side which is the original 9-hole course.)

You were course in older spot that keep nice shots are cool. I like the tea pads and it’s good to see people outside.

A strong 4.2. An excellent design job, as expected, from this reputable design team! They squeezed just about everything possible with this 9 hole track in a smallish park. Love that they were able to bring the giant signature Christmas tree into play on both holes 1 and 2. Following that with a middle stretch of holes along the scenic Kishwaukee River. And then closing with a beautiful green on hole 8 and a downhill air shot for the final hole. Perfect layout for the beginner golfer and good practice for the more seasoned players. The only critical comments would be the basket locations are not the most challenging for the more experienced players. And this particular basket type, the chains don’t catch when off the pole (just my opinion). But that’s nitpicking.
