Trash Panda and UDisc team up to bring the fun to our favorite celebration

When Earth Day rolls around this year on Monday, April 22, of course we'll mark the occasion with some friendly reminders: Respect your courses, pick up trash, and leave the environment in a better state than you found it.

But what about the rest of the year? How do you keep the Earth Day spirit alive every time you go out for a round?

For the teams at UDisc and Trash Panda, it's all about keeping it fun. That's why we play disc golf, after all, and we want to bring that same vibe to our shared focus on sustainability.

That's why our companies are teaming up for Earth Day Bingo. This three-week game leading up to our favorite celebration will make it fun to form new, environmentally friendly habits (or reinforce existing ones) that you can use to, for lack of a better cliché, make Earth Day every day. Complete as many of the 25 challenges as you like, and do some good at your course in the process. It's a win-win!

Here's a sample of some of the activities on the card:

  • 🚲 Bike or walk to the course
  • 🤩 Revitalize an unkempt tee pad
  • 🌲 Hug a tree and apologize for hitting it

That last one is our favorite. Ready to play? Here's how to get going.

How to Play Earth Day Bingo

It's easy to get started with Earth Month Bingo. And you don't have to wait until April 22 – the game starts now.

  1. Screenshot or right-click and download the bingo card below (image 1)

  2. Complete as many challenges as you like, following the rules on the back of the card (image 2)

  3. Submit your card to [email protected] to claim your prizes.

If you get a standard BINGO (any full row, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally), you'll win a free Inner Core putter from Trash Panda. Complete an X, and we'll throw a year of UDisc Pro in with the disc.

Friendly Tips

We want you to have fun – that's what this is all about! If you only want to pick off a few items from the card, make sure you have a good time doing it.

If you're aiming for prizes, here are a few tips to keep in mind:

  1. Be sure to share proof! A couple of the squares require a screenshot or photo evidence, like your renamed "Trash" activity round on UDisc or hugging a tree. Check out the details on the card above and make sure you're following along.

  2. Take a gander at these UDisc blog articles and cross a couple off your card right now:

    2. Can Disc Golf Courses Prevent Catastrophic Wildfires?

  3. Share! Tag us on social media when you're checking off your squares (@trashpandadiscgolf and @udiscapp) so we can see your progress and keep the momentum up all month.

International Course Clean-up Weekend Is Back

Of course, Earth Day Bingo wouldn't be complete without a course clean-up, which is why we're running it back for another International Course Clean-up Weekend from April 20-21. Go solo and pick up as much trash as you can, or get a group together and make it a full-blown event.

  • Find or list a course clean-up at UDisc.com/events, or open the UDisc app and tap the Events tab to find one near you!

How Many Squares Will You Fill?

Whether it's something you do every time you hit the course, like picking up trash, or something you've always said you should do but needed a friendly nudge to remember (Trash bags in your disc bag? So simple, yet so easy to forget!), be sure to focus on the fun this month while you play Earth Day Bingo. You never know: It might just end up being easier than you think to make a difference.
