978 is the best store and I’ve had the best experience every time I’ve been there. Only a tiny bit bitter they left their old location in Fitchburg a year or two ago since that was much closer to me, but I won’t hold it against them!

Disc Golf 978 is the best, hands down. Perfect shop for the inexperienced player all the way up to touring pro, they’re some of the most helpful and friendly people in the business. A must-see if you’re playing Coggs or on your way west towards one of the many Central Mass courses off of Route 2.

Great selection of discs and accessories, great advice, awesome customer service, and a farm shop with delicious fresh made frozen (bake at home) pies! Oh and they have a little disc area out front with a basket setup for practice!

WOW!!! 🔥 978 continues to impress. Had a tree-mendous chat with Mike while I was shopping. Very knowledgeable staff without making you feel encroached or “up-sold.” Their variety is currently unmatched by what I’ve seen. Most impressive- their disc exchange! You buy and disc and don’t like it? No prob- bring it back within 14 days and you can trade it for another disc of same or lesser value! 1st I’ve heard. Thanks so much for the course recommendations.
