After reading some of the current reviews I thought I should share some information for those passing through. The course is squeezed into a small area which has some holes that share the same area, crossing fairways and blind shots that cross other holes areas. Redesigning the course is not an option, this is a county park which does not allow expanding from the current footprint, mando signs were installed to mitigate danger and produce a safer playing environment. Etiquette is required. There has been recent basket location movement that is not reflected on the current tee signs, that’s in the works. Everything that happens at the park requires county approval which is slow at best. The course was originally designed in 02’, 9 speeds where the fastest discs and there was maybe 15 people who played in the SLO Co. area. With the growth of the game and technology the course does its best to keep up. We at N.C.D.C. do appreciate the input but reality must be accepted, it’s a gem of a course and we’re blessed to have it. On another note, th course resides in a blue oak preserve, pruning or removing trees, fallen trees etc. is strongly prohibited. The county wants the park to remain as natural as possible. I hope some of this info helps explain why the course is the way it is. Thanks for reading
