This place is a clinic in long low ceiling tunnel shots. Beginners will struggle here but this is an excellent training ground for advanced and intermediate players. Reminds me of Oak Grove Wintertime Open layouts. I’d recommend pants and gaiters and be mindful to avoid the poison oak on the few holes where it could come into play

Each individual hole on this course is fun and unique, but whoever designed this course did NOT have safety in mind. Holes 4 & 5 throw at each other on the same fairway. Depending on 4’s basket and errant throw goes over 3’s basket, and sometimes 4’s basket location is 20’ from 5’s tee pad. Then 15 & 16 cross each other on a blind corner. Redesign 5 by moving the basket down from 4’ basket towards the fence to the big oak tees and throw through the tunnel. Big left to right forehand. Get rid of 16, then you have 18 great holes. Watch your feet. Lots of squirrel holes.

Great course... Just could be dolled up a bit. Some dead trees could be downed as well as some dead branches pruned. I'm glad I had a guide... I've played alot of really nice courses lately that steered your walk to the next tee with landscaped items such as rocks or logs. The next tees signs are appreciated but this course could use some more attention for the challenge that it is. Props to whoever designed the shots. It's a diamond in the rough. The mandos caused me to focus more than any other course and took away some easy birdies if I could have made my standard throws

Passing through area, and what a great surprise of a course. Love playing within the oaks and lots of shot shapes. 👍🏻

Definitely a good local course, but too many crossing or close fairways. Layout could use some work. Tough for a beginner, but you won’t lose any discs. Worth a play if you are in the area, but not a destination course.

For those bringing strollers, they should know about the gofer holes! Nice people out there, great course!

Great tees and signage. Amenities are good due to being in a public park. If this was my home course I would be excited to play every week, however, this is not a destination course. If in the area, stop and play a round. Next time I am in Paso to wine taste, I will stop and play again.

Rating a 3/5 due to there being a lot of overgrown tall grass. Otherwise, this course offers a great amount of shot variety.

Such a sweet course. Excellent signage and tee pads. I used a lot of different discs for the shot variety. Only knock is that it’s not scenic but still a legit course to cross off your list

Ignore the uDisc pin placements, look for the dial on the tee sign. Would need a few times through to get a feel for it.

Super dusty in late September. Also wasn’t a huge fan of the criss-crossing over the ravine for holes 14-18. Unnecessary design, especially for beginners.

Great course overall but absolutely brutal when the tees are in their long positions. Unsure if anyone not named Simon Lizotte would be able to birdie a couple of these holes in their far pin positions.

I played a speed round here right before sunset on a road trip south. All of the locals were super helpful and friendly. Good mix of short and long with some elevation plays. Lot of blind tee shots which was dicey but decent signage.

When the weather isn’t too hot this is a beautiful course. Tons of Oaks present a low ceiling and interesting topology and all the equipment we in top shape.

Fun, technical course. Long 8 should be a par 4....or I should play better. 😉
