Wear pants. Have a disc retriever just in case. May need to have spotters for a few holes on the back 9. Fun/difficult, heavily wooded, overgrown in spots, silver layout short enough to be in range of 17/18 baskets. Cool course I would not recommend for beginners.
@dabiotrain
Kinda fun in the winter, any other time of year probably too overgrown. Old school vibe
@savernl
Interesting shot design, but the course feels like it is falling apart.
@bernchip5110
Not sure if it’s even worth playing if there’s a tournament at the other course. This shit sucks.
@acetentom
Played this course 5 years ago. Was a gem. Sadly, the upkeep of the course is lacking.
@disknight
Narrow fairways, everything to the side was very dense ground vegetation. Nearly lost 3 discs in the woods. Could not continue after hole 4
@mrelee
Don’t play the Blues, impossible to find tees. Silvers seemed good. Rough is rough, lots of thorny plants.
@coolwolfseven
Amazing, creative shots across all sorts of little streams. Some of the prettiest and at the same time most fun shots and holes anywhere. Sadly there is minimal infrastructure at best, it is disastrously muddy, I don't want to think of the bugs in the summer, direction from basket to next tee leaves you searching and the baskets themselves are next to invisible (seriously one or two cans of bright orange spray paint and you're halfway there). Still, can't wait to come back and play it again, especially once the trails are hard cut in. Potential to be insanely great.
@jackkuipers
First time playing as a Skylands regular, I like the shots a lot, fairways are there unlike some other short courses but the walk itself can get confusing and half the tees having pads and half not is a bit jarring.
@klobrien42
Unclear OB on many holes. No real tees. Hole 12 and 13 seem like afterthought additions to the course. Teepads and new baskets would do wonders.
@gslater41
Needs alot of clean up and tee pads. Could not find 14th Teepad or the 17th Teepad— even with the Udisc app..but I shot from where they’re supposed to be. Fairways are super tight. Probably the toughest course I’ve ever played.
@karlseitz
Little overgrown during these months so brutal if not in the fairway. Winter months this course is in prime conditions!!!!
@lordoderus
Fun technical course but a lot of signage missing, very hard to navigate, bridges over water washed out. Play in early spring or late fall when less overgrown
@adampisco
Really nice wooded course. Not much elevation or left-right challenges, but still a fair amount of hole variety and streams provide challenging water obstacles.
@jackdriscoll4
Only 6 tee pads that are concrete, the rest are dirt. There is a lot of foliage and its easy to lose your disc so make sure to have a spotter on some holes. Well balanced and challenges all types of shot shapes
@dchernati
A fall / course, for sure. Woodsy course with beautiful grass fairways & streams. Feels like a hike, with disc golf. Watch out for thorns! One of my favorites. If only it were easier to maintain.
