Die WOD DiscGolf Initiative Bayern hat sich um einen Standort in der Bayerwald-Region bemüht und ist auf eine sehr aufgeschlossene Stadtregierung in Roding getroffen. Der Stadtpark ist in den Sommermonaten zum Teil mit Zelten und Camping belegt.
