Rating based on before the new ski runs started to be built. Now that so much has changed, and construction has led to some neglect and destruction of what's there... THE COURSE SHOULD BE ENTIRELY DESIGNED INTO A REALLY GREAT 18 HOLE LAYOUT, TWO TEES, AND TWO PERMANENT BASKETS. (Hire me for the design and construction, and I will donate the additional 9 baskets to get to 36)

In depth review and description: It's really hard to get a read on the truth about this disc golf course from these reviews, so here is an in-depth description of the course as of October 11th, 2025. It's easy to find the parking area and the sign for the start of the disc golf course at the base of the ski hill. Take a picture of the course map at the sign, you will need it as there is no udisc map, at least not at the time of this writing. The practice area indicated on the map is actually a full length hole, about 300 ft, uphill. It's unlike any other hole on the entire course so don't let that set your expectations, lol. Play that and then go up the hill and watch out for the sign for tee 1 to your right. I'm going to leave a separate review section for holes 1-11 and then talk about the remainder of the course at the end. The first 11 holes feel like a pretty complete experience going up the mountain and then back down. It is built on the grounds of a ski facility, but the holes really don't follow or incorporate the open ski hill areas much at all. Signage and flow is pretty decent at the beginning and I didn't need to consult the map until hole five or six. Then I needed to consult it a few times to figure out where the next hole was, but after a quick look at the map it was pretty easy to find. The tees are small gravel patches but leveling work has been done. They didn't bother me but will definitely bother the Tee Pad Police on this app. The baskets are nice Discatchers and there are quite a few garbage cans, picnic tables, and even porta potties throughout the course. It's obvious that some work, time, and money have been put in here. However, this is probably the most physically demanding disc golf course to traverse that I have ever visited. I don't think I have any friends that would have any fun here just due to that alone. It is a full-on workout walking through a forest with extreme elevation change. In addition to that, most of the holes don't really have a line to get to the basket, you're just making your way through heavy woods trying not to get a tree kick way off the straight line. A birdie (2) feels basically impossible on every hole, and a par (3) feels like an accomplishment on literally every hole, even though on paper they are not very long. Between the physical demands of the course, the gravel tee pads, and the lack of real throwing lines through dense forest, only a very small percentage of disc golf players are going to have any fun playing these holes. Hole 11 takes you steeply down the hill (not in a very fun way unfortunately) and offers you the opportunity to stop there. Hole 12 is another woods shot that takes you away from the parking area and isn't super long but doesn't really give you any chance to throw towards the basket. After basket 12 I got completely lost as the course turned into a labyrinth. Multiple "tee this way" signs in the same area contradict each other in comical fashion. The terrain deteriorated into barely walkable condition through downed trees, heavy Forest, creek and elevation. After trudging through it and exploring for quite some time, I eventually found the tees and baskets for 13, 14, and 15. Virtually all adults and casual players would find it impossible to pathfind and play through here. The layout did not make any sense to me and the terrain was very extreme. I was not able to figure out how to get from basket 15 to the tee of 16, no idea where it is. I did my best just to backtrack and get out of there safely. After getting back to the parking area I consulted the map and walked the course backward to check out basket 18 and see where the course is supposed to come out of the woods. I did find baskets 18 and 17 right where they are supposed to be. It looks like hole 17 would have been probably my favorite hole of the day, a downhill shot throwing out of the woods into the clearing at the bottom of the hill. I really have no idea how you are supposed to get from basket 15 to and through Hole 16 and then all the way over to where I could see 17s tee was. It is a long way. So in summary, I unfortunately did not find a full 18 hole disc golf course in playable condition today. I found an 11 hole course that I was able to get through but it wasn't very fun even though I am athletic and really open-minded about disc golf courses. No one I know would have had any fun playing this with me, lol. And then after hole 12 it wasn't really playable anymore. With respect to the significant work and investment that has clearly gone into the course, it really does need a full redesign to become a course people would want to come play at. I hope it happens at this awesome ski hill!!
