About the course

Wild Turkey is a challenging 18 hole course in Hampstead, NC featuring a combination of par three, four and five wooded holes. The fairways are cleared and mulched. The baskets are permanent Innova Discatchers. This course is PRIVATE and pay-to-play ONLY. Day passes are available for $5.00 per day, per player. Please text Sean Mansell at 910-409-6909 for gate code and physical address. Memberships are available for $100.00 per year for unlimited play. Camping on site is available. Please take your trash with you when you leave. Future plans include expansion and a disc clubhouse stocked with refreshments and bathrooms. Course Owner: Jesse Smelik

Course is in great shape one of our favorite places to play while on vacation at Topsail Beach. We have been playing the course for 3 years now and still keep coming back every year to visit and play it again.

Easy to navigate. Decently easy to find your disc as long as you don't go crazy deep. Tee Pads were decent. I like the ones with the non-slip paint and 2x decking. The astroturf covered wood pads weren't bad either but the sealed wood felt best. Looking for lots more birds next time for sure. Not too easy, but easily can be birdville if you play it a few times. The real price is $10 as of July 2025. I find that a bit high, but it is a day pass, and if they continue improving, it's worth helping them out for what they have created at Wild Turkey. Kudos.
