One of three courses at Shining Mountain, this is one of the definitive spots for mountain disc golf in Southern Colorado. This section features a wide range of downhill and uphill driving lines with some tight tree gaps to track through or avoid running up on. This course will help tighten your approach shots for certain! Make a whole day out of it! Bring your friends! Enjoy the experience here!
@jwdubbs
We went to hole one then had to go back to the pro shop to pay. More signage for getting to the first tee would have been good.
@krzyzanowski
Nice mountain course that isn't too difficult.
@bigmiek
Fun short wooded course. Seems like the distances on the signs are off.
@boclan24
Tee pads made it rough. Also, half the holes are straight up at 200-250 which got old. Beautiful views made it cool.
@jackwilson12
Super fun! Wooded shots mostly with some good elevation change on a couple. Beautiful. A little more beginner-friendly than its neighbor, Serenity Pines.
@brettmorgan
Unpopular opinion but as far as a pay to play course goes, this one is pretty disappointing. Aside from Hole 1, tee boxes are dirt and plays a role into each hole. As review before mine has said. No benches or trash cans make for some easy things to make this pay to play course more worthwhile. If you want to play with beautiful views without paying, head to Lake George or any of the courses in the Colorado Springs area.
@bman437
The views are incredible!!
@joeykujala
Super technical course at times, lots of hidden baskets. However, extremely fun. Add it to the list!
@bobo1313
Not a fan, loved serenity and the beast. But won't play whispering again.
@sill8851
Lovely short and fairly technical course in a beautiful setting. No complaints at all.
@randomdeuceguy
All dirt pads. Cannot see about half of the baskets from the teepad or a majority of the fairway. Some basket locations are puzzling.
@moosemania42
Lots of uphill/downhill. Lots of trees could use a little clean up
@powordisc
Great!
@binkett
Awesome course, well maintained, and super fun. Wish there better pads and benches, especially since it’s paid. Still easily worth the money. Stellar views and a nice hike. If you’re bringing someone not from the high country, be prepared for some breaks or to skip 10-13, which in my opinion is part of the reason to do this course, that and 7. Suck it up buttercup. Enjoy!
@skylerballs
Lots of good variations in terrain, again wish there was an annual pass for locals.
@nrw14096
Great short technical course. Lots of elevation changes. Needs some tee box work for sure.
@joeknapp
Good course, was built/designed in 2018, so the trees have been growing up and making the shots more difficult, would love to see the course get an update, and pour some tee pads overall nice course
