Amazing challenging course with some extreme elevation and distance. Being a noodle arm I prefer playing the shorter layouts. Excellent job by all who were involved in bringing this course to life
@teemujokisuu
An absolutely amazing course where every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed to perfection. The course design, flow, hole info signs, everything – 10/10. I loved it!
@tonyengen
This is a great course, killer design. Get ready to bring your big boy arm, cos your noodle arm ain't gonna do it here. Also, the "hills" part of the name isn't just a clever moniker. If you hit 'directions' on Udisc it will just take you to the middle of New Richmond, use the GPS coordinates. Somebody should fix that.

Top of the line Signage is coming! Be patient. This course reminds me of Pickard Park, site of the Des Moines challenge. Twin Cities golfers, there's nothing else like this in the area. I counted 3 flat holes of the 18. Today I played long to long, I wish I would have played another layout as well, looks like all options offer a different approach and experience. I was able to walk with a course volunteer, and offer my opinion on a few items. This course is an absolute gem, you will throw a variety of shots, some open bombers, some technical shots, and putting will always be a challenge with the open fields surrounding the park sparking up wind. Great facilities, 4 portable toilet, and I believe garbage cans will expand as then continue finalizing the course amenities. Traveling from north metro, it is a similar distance as The Preserve and St. Cloud courses, and TBH, this offers 4 different style courses on one campus.

Top tier rolling park style course with some amazing views and shots. Challenging golds layout with two tees and baskets each hole so excited to play all the permutations. It’s a hike and the par 6s are fun. Tees are great cement with the best tee signs you could imagine, showing distance and altitude. Mostly open shots with a lot of height change but a few feet woods lines with tight, technical gaps.
@backhandbrotha
Long to long is for real OGs only, very cool course and great variety of shots, make sure to spot and stay hydrated!
@harleja29
Fantastic design, tons of fun! Long open winding fairways lined with tall grass, most of which you really don't want to be in so bring a spotter ideally. Tons of elevation. No signs yet, bring Udisc
@brianphillips
Once finished an easy 5 stars, once benches and all tee signs are in and they maintain upkeep this well most likely become the #1 course in Wisconsin... Only things i didn't care for are holes 2,3 wide open upfront of property and I felt hole 13 needs to be trimmed fairway very narrow.. other than that is a perfect course.. I understand not every hole is magical.. but you can tell they spent alot of money installing this course. Wow!!
@discrabbit
Very imaginative but I think a few holes will need tweaking over time
@ericrdmn
Beautiful land, really nice tees and baskets with ability to play long or short holes. Thorns in the rough are brutal and need to be cleaned up. A few too many spots where you can be 15 feet from the basket and have no putt at all. The 2 par 6s should be chopped up and the course just made into a 21 hole layout.
@badcompany79
Good bones, but total bomber course with some odd lines. Looking fwd to seeing improvement over the years.
@prestidigit8tor
Beautiful course with a lot of good variety. Good use of length and elevation. Nice tee pads and baskets. Very nice tee signs but could use some more navigation signs.
@regularjames
Very unique shots and two par 6 holes like you’ve never played. Beautiful rolling hills and perfect tee pads. Great potential to keep improving as the course gets played more and some natural OB and trees clear up a bit. Longs to longs is a JAUNT. Good signs are on their way!
@jonnyt123
Incredible course. It’s reminiscent of Cedar Creek West, but with some more distance and open holes; the ups and downs are comparable. A MUST PLAY. Amazing Summer 2025 update - Much more difficult in the summer with very thick rough. Still 5 stars for sure.
@dannybetlock
Amazing, Beautiful, so worth the drive. Last half star if some of the prickly ash can be cleared and when signs go in.
@jakek22
Rating is only lower because signs have yet to be installed. All other aspects were fantastic. Very fun and challenging layout from long to long!
@strooz
Epic.
@drumm3rn4ut
Some staked OB and a few mandos on easily breakable holes would make the longest layout truly gold level. Most holes are wide open with unforgiving rough. Watch your discs closely
@stevek365
Signs should be up soon supposedly, that's all it's currently missing from being top notch all around. Could be lost disc issues depending how well they maintain rough.
