The upkeep is wonderful, shot variety is challenging (lost a disc) and overall incredibly peaceful. If I am in the area again soon I will be back.
@momofeat
This is the first time I’ve played this course, and it was only three days after Hurricane Helene came through, so it was hard to get a feel for its normal upkeep. I wanted to leave this feedback, though, because it’s considered a “dog-friendly” course, but there’s glass on several holes. I was really concerned that my dog would step on glass.
@enderpilot
Solid course. I think there's some little things that could change (like a better hole eighteen or seventeen being redesigned into a manageable par 5 rather than a next to impossible par 4. That's coming from someone with the power to get the 3 but the tunnel is insane and it takes a 400 ft forehand after a 180 ft placement shot. Ridiculous, but also kinda fun lol) That said, udisc needs an update with the holes. The distances on udisc are WILDLY off on several holes and the pin locations have changed from the ones in the current 'main' layout.
@walterkling
Seems like signage and udisc don't match. Very long part 3s
@keithmacdonald
Nice course! Signage on the back 9 was tricky, but the layout flowed nicely overall. Probably wouldn't bring a dog either as there was broken glass on a few holes. The cows and the frogs were rad. Lastly, the facilities were locked, but I peed in the woods. Our secret?

Gr8 place
@lenich25
Great course. I wouldn’t bring any dogs here bc rake there is a lot of broken glass on the walk but otherwise we had a good round.
@jakelx
First time at course. Fun course but very muddy and some large trees down. Hole 10 tee pad has a tree on it. Grass was long. Overall will be back.
@dctozzo
Good variety of shots that test most players. Does provide some opportunities to score. Couple of ace runs as well. Feels like a private course, never busy. Very nice teepads, signage, and a covered picnic/bathroom facility. Underrated in my opinion.
@robble
Would absolutely love to see some of the alternate pin locations used. The city is really lacking when it comes to this course. Appreciate that it gets mowed though.
@jdugger87
Not too bad, I really enjoyed the Eagle Scout project, benches on each hole.
@colt15
It’s my home course and I love it, only thing I don’t like is if the course is busy (which it’s normally never busy) because a lot of the fairways cross each other.
@bigbaddawson
Whirlwind starts you in the open for the first few holes and slowly progresses to semi-wooded and wooded golf. The course shines on holes 1-14. The fairways move from wide open field shots to narrow gaps in the woods before opening up a bit again. Holes 15-18 are noticeably more difficult than the previous holes due to challenging fairway shapes and obstacles. There are multiple pin layouts but the baskets rarely move.
@bowtech83
Needs some trees strategically removed. Optional lanes opened .
