Tees could be better, and it would be nice to at least fill out 9 holes. But as a newb, the shorter shots made for an enjoyable quick session without feeling overwhelmed, and low chances of losing a disc into the wilderness. Lots of people using the park for other activities, keep your head on a swivel.
@adearth18
Solid course for what they have to work with. Fun use of elevation and simple navigation. Wound not go out of my way to play but fun spot to play in 20-30 minutes
@peptoshotz
Nice park, course is pretty short and basic.
@pam0169
Nice short 7 tee course. It was the 1st one I played in Sept 2024. I've played 15 different ones since so it kept me interested in sport that 1st time.
@mikelennett
Mostly wide open and grassy.
@mthieman1026
Nice clean course that needs some updating and maintenance. New tee pads needed, or just use grass. Gravel tee pads are hazards. Course also needs to find a way to reintroduce two holes to make a complete 9. There’s plenty of space to do it. Overall, nice little course with potential. Gives me a quick way to step out of the office for a short hike and exercise!
@frisbeeshark
Great short course. Fairways well taken care of but tee boxes are gravel and need TLC. Better to just throw from the grass nearby.
@braskin
Good for what it is. Signature hole #5, a short-yet-dangerous RHFH downhill shot that screams "ace meeee". Tees are rough like others have said, but just use the grass to the side.
@benthecartoon
Would give 5 stars for a full 9, but nice, easy beginner course
@goofazi
Fun little short course to work on shot shapes and disc utilization. As others have said, holes 7 and 8 have been removed.
@gsmith310
Good learning course
@crookedhandtex
If it had all of the baskets, I'd give it 5.
@drkknght50
Easy parking and access. Due to other features of the park, it can get tricky to avoid other park pedestrians. Two holes have been missing for a bit. Onsite bathrooms good.
@jarodowen
For a putter course, it’s not bad. The tee pads are just craters now, that are begging you to twist an ankle on. The scenery is nice and it’s an ok course to take the kids. Sure would be nice to get holes 7 and 8 back.
@stiboi86
Holes 7 and 8 missing, but fun little course where you really don’t need a big arm
@jlrothe
The best true beginner course in Roanoke. A really good course to practice upshots and increase confidence. Will be better with the return to 9 holes.
