I want so badly to like this course. While the shot variety definitely isn’t the best, some of the holes are still fun and well thought out. It’s also long enough to actually engage players with bigger arms. HOWEVER, this course is next to unplayable for most of the year. Fairways are generous, but in warm months the rough is incredibly thick and losing discs can happen very quickly. This can be avoided somewhat in the winter months, but the course also doesn’t drain well, making it kind of a double edged sword. I am typically a long tees guy, but not here. I gave it six holes (and 3 list discs, but 2 new ones found) before I ended up back on the shorts. The lines that the longs make you throw end up being so aggressive that you have to challenge the bounds of the fairways - and being off them is a lost disc. Of all of the courses I’ve played, this is also the one I feel most unsafe on (and I’ve played courses in Montana with bear spray at the ready). I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to play this course alone. Even as a group, have your wits about you.

Best distance course in Central Ohio

Great course! Fun open course just stay in the fairways and hit low lines!
@kevinpdonahoe
Reviews had my expectations low and I really enjoyed this course! And for a spring time round, no issues with mud! Will 100% be back! Will be interesting to see the rough in the summer when it is grown in. Overall, great use of space around the old golf course. Played through woods and even the open shots baskets were placed in between trees.
@theohgeez
Fun course. Not many elevation changes. I would recommend playing with a spotter if you can - Makes the rough much less of a concern.

Whoever leaves a 4 star review or less is wrong IMO. They probably just threw a couple bad shots and ended up in the weeds. Beautiful course. Every shot you could want. Longer then the average course. My one and only complaint is the parking lot udisc sends you to is a good ways away from hole 1. Could be difficult for a first time course visitor to find it. Play this course. You may lose a disc or two, the rough is rough, but that shouldn't penalize the course.

Great course design! Great playing in winter when grass is died back.
@nickymcc
Play it in the late fall to early spring when you can find your disc in the rough.

Nice fairways rough is terrible
@hiimcolebear
Poison ivy paradise, get a handle on the rough and it could be the best course in Columbus. I refuse to play this course between May and October
@isntlifebeachy
Good signage on most pads but nothing to indicate where to go for next hole. Not usually an issue but easy to go from 2 to 5 on accident.
@ronstoppabull
Built for long drives. Playing in January, there’s barely any rough, which I think has been trimmed down recently, anyway. With the exception of 3 and 4, every hole leads right to the next one. People ranking the course low because of signage are likely basing it on 3 and 4 alone.
@tdubbs71
This course is definitely for advanced players who have the ability to make long drives. Often lots of people in the parking lot who aren’t disc golfers.
@tgrady18
Beautiful and well maintained but absolutely brutal difficulty. Do not take beginners here. Such a great challenge, especially from blue tees. Rough is thick so watch your discs and make sure you’re accurate. Avoid in summer months when rough is unmanageable.
@bisness36
Fun course especially for those trying to expand their distance shots. The tall grass/“cotton?” Is a bit much during the summer. Stay on the fairway
@sarchinal
You’ll likely lose a disc but well maintained fairways
@kiwidg
When the grass is mowed, this course is excellent. For the majority of the summer, the rough is extremely overgrown, so bring a spotter if possible. Also not in the best neighborhood.
