@jpalm12
Got lost a fair bit and some of the shot shapes feel inhuman on the long to long layout (1, 3). Had to stop after 13 because it was dark but I was having a blast!
@melissa726
Not a course I would ever choose to play again. If you aren’t >900, pass.
@babachruma
Am extremely challenging, long, and arduous wooded course that requires finesse, distance, and stamina. Will be 5 stars and pro level when new tees are out in and damage from recent storm is repaired.
@chadf32
So much work has been done setting up the course...the poor people at the rec dept have their hands full with all the downed trees....tee boxed and baskets are amazing...my only complaint is the lack of lanes for shots on several holes...I am not in favor of throw and pray it gets through...if they are still working on that because of trees, this is a 5 star course
@treebanger27
Awesome course. Very challenging!
@mattmarkham
Hope you’re tough because this course is not going to go easy on you. I’d love to come back and see this course during the summer. It was a little tough mid-fall with all of the leaves on the ground. But it was a blast.
@dtaylo08
I have played over 300 courses in my days. This lands top 10 easily. You just have to be ready for a challenge. Extremely wooded and difficult, but a beautiful course and beautiful layout.
@redrum854
One of my favorites. Very challenging lines but well thought out. Clean and well taken care of.
@theriddler1
Just a really really good course. Challenging lines while still very enjoyable, variety of shots, 10/10 tee pads and baskets. Highly recommend.
@mastershank
Beautiful well maintained course, but it's too hard. If you're in the top 5% of disc golfers you will enjoy it otherwise keep lookong
@austindg
Gives New London a run for its money. Great wooded Virginia disc golf. Course is young but has great potential. Course designer Greg Clemmons is fantastic!
@beckorback
Great tee boxes but it’s unnecessarily difficult to be fun. And for context, I shoot under par at mayflower. Kind of a waste of energy for the lack of design.
@dbsmith
This place is one of my favorite places in the world to play, the shot variety, and just the set up of the course, the tea pads the pin locations. This place is top-notch.
@dbeale
This course is very well designed with a variety of shot shapes and distances. This is a modern and extremely challenging course with heavy penalties if you get off the narrow fairways. The care put into the tee pads, greens and transitions is next to none.
@roosterlu
Found this gem on my way back to North Carolina and I got to say this is a very tough course but I had a lot of fun shape shotting my discs. It is fairly new so there is a little work to be done like some trimming and of course tea signs to the next baskets but after talking to the gentleman it's all in the works so please be patient and if you happen to go to try the course before that make sure you have a charged phone so you can use the udisc to find the next teepad. Be safe and have fun!
