It has local charm, beautiful woods, and a few good opportunities for birdies. It also has uneven and loose gravel t-pads, outdated and hard-to-spot baskets, and one forgiving fairway on a ski slope. Excited to see what work might be done in the future. Signage is large arrows on wooden signs, except they show you the t-pad and fairway when the real question is “where’s the basket?”. Most holes were logged on U Disc as dead straight, even though there’s curve and nuance, so you’re left without much direction even while using the app. Hole 2 plays as a par 4, going 360 feet straight uphill on a tight fairway. Maybe add another 30 feet, make it an official par 4, and give a chance at birdie instead of scrambling for bogey. Seems disproportionate when hole 7 is less than 200 feet, downhill.

Course left the open meadows of the ski area early and went into the heavily forested narrow logging trail type course. I think an open meadow, let it fly across the ski trails course would be a rare NH gem if ever planning a redo, or back 9. Open concept, easier maintenance as it’s mowed a bit, clear line of sight to the next hole, if course stays in meadow. This location has some amazing potential. Thanks to all involved
