Great course. Needs more work, but is still a shoot below par course for sure. Still beginner friendly in places but challenging in the right spots.
@zaccattack
Top 5 courses I’ve played. Field holes on Gold need a big arm but are super fun. Woods holes are tight but fair. Huge mix of shot types. Oversized tee pads. And just gorgeous.
@stewiepat
A proper course with new big tee pads. Great design and fun all around.
@dgaskins
They finally built the course Shelby Farms had the potential to be. Well done.
@turbotuba
I love it!
@carterrae
Holes 2-4 have really brutal lines. Honestly non-existent. Outside of those holes, it was fine.
@mattrix77
What a facelift 🙌🏻. Great variety from wooded front 9 to a more open back 9. Back 9 contains some familiar flight paths from the previous layout but has a ton of variety mixed in to make it all seem new. Great course, awesome to see the old crusty course get a breath of fresh air. Well done 🥏👍🏻
@jaredselby
The new layout is really good. Had a lot of fun. Will be back and I’m from out of state.
@stephencalcote
Excellent redesign. The new teepads and baskets were perfect, and the new holes were beautiful and aesthetic. MUCH better than old layout.
@jayburr
The new design is better. Really enjoy the first 13 holes after that it’s meh. Some of the mandos are pointless. The Mando on 16 is just stupid.
@ayydee
It’s better than what the old course was but design still feels clunky. Some of the hole redesigns were unnecessary and honestly worse than the originals. Overall refreshing change to the course but still lacking, especially with the amount of land that is used
@josiahjohnson
Very fun layout. I would like to see some trees thinned out on holes 2 and 4 to take out the luck factor. Hopefully someone will start shuffling the pin placements soon.
@steveo19840
Lower rating bc the grass is too tall on back 9. Otherwise I love the course. Waiting for them to move the baskets, they've been in the same position since the course opened in November 2024
@brw481
Interesting new design with plenty of variety. Some great holes, some super boring. Definitely an improvement over the neglected old course. It’s a shame the nice new big concrete teepads are awfully unlevel so you’re always throwing up, down, or sideways on a hillside.
@ndauteuil88
This is the coolest course in the Memphis area. So much fun!
