Has a lot of potential. No maintenance, no tee pads, but not a bad course layout. Only free course in the area, but you pay in your efforts of facing mud, tall grass (later in the season), and navigating the woods. Could clean up nice.
@ausomeface
Half swampland, goes through running trails with no visibility of shot or goal making it impossible to track where the disc flies unless you throw it in 30' increments. Extremely dense brush on marshland on either sides of shot makes it nearly impossible to find discs.
@justinl03
Impossible to navigate without app, no tee boxes, and baskets always hidden behind massive overgrowth
@jtferg
Difficult, only played the front nine before dark. Went home with wet shoes. Lost a mako3
@baileyc21
Not bad for a free course. Plenty of really tough holes though. If anyone finds a bright yellow x avenger driver on the left side of 10 please call the number on it haha
@prodigy1prime
Entry is free so not bad. The university doesn’t care about the course though and there’s no upkeep whatsoever. Front 9 is worth playing, but the tall grass is prohibitive on the back 9. Probably worth playing in the winter when the grass and other foliage is dead. In the summer though, bring a couple putters in the cheapest plastic and just have fun trying to hit some tricky shots. Long pants and boots necessary
@wreakinghaddock
Great course! Front nine technical in the woods, back is long bombers. I had no idea my almermater had such an awesome course!
@andrewgross1992
Grass is pretty long, even in fairways. Difficult course due to this and close tall vegetation around!
@clynch8207
Several areas need clean up. Course is not very well laid out as far as t offs.. Hard to play even a few days after a rain. Very very tight tunnel shots in the first 7ish holes. Then alot of wide open shots. 1 and 18 share the same basket.
@smckeg
Free course but some holes have very thing fairways.
@kcholod
Very wooded for the most part and low ceilings, but very good for a free course. This was the course I started playing disc golf on so I might be a bit biased, but I would highly recommend giving a try!
@keggerific
Tight and wooded for the most part, with some long, clear holes 9-13. Tee signs are pretty rough with "suggested routes" that aren't very helpful. Always love for my hometown 🤘
@camcoulombe
Very frustrating course, tight and low ceiling lines that almost guarantee your disc going into the woods. A few bomber holes but they need to move basket locations or clear brush (kinda goes for the rest of the course too). Super appreciative about having a full course on the campus though! p.s. I lost 2 discs on holes 9/10 it almost isn’t worth driving on 10 if you have no spotter.
@ericthewelder
Some holes are basically unplayable unless your into losing discs in tall grass. Very stait narrow low ceiling fairways on most holes
