About the course

The Gold course provides a variety of different tee shots, long and short holes, as well as wooded and open ones. Some elevation changes through out the course as well. Hole 11, called the U Hole, represents the only mando. Discs must pass the left side of the marked tree to correctly play the hole. Par is 56 which includes two par fours; holes 11 and 15. August 2024 update: Course now has tee pads thanks to the partnership with University of Alaska Fairbanks and the Fairbanks Disc Golf Association! There is a combination of above ground and at grade tee pads depending on hole location. Some of the above ground tee pads still require finishing touches to complete the improvements. Parking is located on an overlook pull out just south of the woods the course is located on. There are two unmarked trails that lead north into the woods which will take you up to to large satellites and a utility road that lies on the north side of these satellite dishes. Follow this road west, hang a right after the small metal gate, and the first tee is two trail heads down from the gate. Several holes have damp areas that make waterproof shoes a necessity. Mosquitoes can be heavy and bug spray is recommended early June through late August.

Course in process of installing tee pads. Once in, with the adjusted tee locations the course will be much improved upon an already fun layout.
