@aceleopard
good but a moose mauled me.
@simplercomplex2
This course is great for a quick round! While its scenery is a bit boring, the course is great for practicing distance and precision with open fairways. The only other downside is the long walk back to the parking lot.
@simplercomplex
Great course for beginners or for a quick and easy round. Look out for tournaments.
@mcalenso
If you’re gonna play this before 7pm wear lots of sunscreen and a water bottle bcuz for 6 out of the 9 holes you are on a hill getting cooked by the sun.
@fludwing
Fun short course, good to play a quick round, grass can be tall on the hill but never out of hand
@kbikeman
Really fun course. Beginner friendly.
@mraimo
Fun small course. Map was necessary to navigate layout first time but now I got it!
@tatorman
Good course
@dtely1
Hope maps and tee pads would make a nice upgrade as well as having 9 end a bit closer to 1
@piplusalaska
Nice wide open course so you can’t easily lose your disc (unless you’re @kelltron). The layout is not the most straightforward, and you need two cars if you’re lazy (and don’t want to walk up a steep hill where holes 4-7 are to get back to your car). Park your car by the museum, walk down to Yukon drive, then turn left onto Yukon drive and you’ll find the first hole.
@borealchickadee
Great short course, also probably the least buggy in town 😉
@zzumwalt
This course is no joke! Even though it’s nine short holes, there are major elevation changes. Course is pretty much on the side of a mountain. Throwing almost straight down followed by almost straight up.
@wilkinson
Massive elevation changes holes 4, 7 and 9. Challenging and fun.
@chastheace
9 hole course, super fun and most holes open besides #8, it’s a bit tricky. Great for beginners or family or just for practice. Defiantly recommend. No tee pads though... super easy and fun for all.
@konacj
Fun, short and quick course. Utilizes the terrain well.
@isaac17
Trails around the course have recently been modified. Lots of opportunities to expand and capitalize on new terrain when holes 1-3 are eventually replaced with a new university structure. That said, signage is missing and some tee pad locations are missing and will need to be restablished. Still a fun course to throw with the large change in verticality generally missing in most other Fairbanks courses!
