Seems to be restricted to town residents only, but that could be more for the pool. Beautiful course but all the holes are wide open field shots. Fairways freshly mowed when I was here, but if you go off the fairway it’s basically all poison ivy. I would say worth playing to check off a list but not something to go out of your way to play.
@grvecjakep
Insane that the grass off the fairways doesn’t get trimmed to under a foot. Be prepared to lose a disc or two. Great views at the top of the hill. Could use tee pads.
@rhanedg
A really beautiful spot but the lack of tees and low quality baskets leave a lot to be desired. Some parts are strangely wet for being open fields.
@jaxbishop
Tymore takes a little moretime with all the high grass along the fairways.
@hornicekm
Solid beginner course. Open fairways with one wooded pin location (hole 9). Tee pads are just grass with hole signage. Easily navigated due to open layout. High brush at perimeter of the fairways can cause trouble if throws aren’t accurate.
@ericmerg
Grass so high you can lose discs inside c1 or the fairway, live grass tee areas make it so your feet get tangled during run up, every hole is the same just different distances, I threw hyzers the entire round and finished -2 with a glitch only round. Baskets seem to be maybe mach 1s with like 12 total chains so you have to be very careful on your putts or it cuts right through.
@delerkk
Love this course for a beginner as I don't have a far drive or can throw far ha. BUT it's also rough for people who don't have control on their disc as you can lose them easily. If they trimmed the bushes around the course it would be 10x better. But still a great course just have to be careful of sending it haha. Also love to meet new peeps so don't be afraid of saying hi if you see someone practicing alone ha.
@bravodingo
Public park in rural setting. Higher grasses are heavy (rough) with ticks and poison ivy. WIDE fairways, but you can still lose a disc easily in the rough (high/thick grasses and shrubs). Nice signage, red tee boards could use touch-up and trim for stumble-free approach. Great course for a quick 9, or for distance/control practice.
@liberate93
As a beginner I enjoyed the course very much. Just keep an eye on your disc if you have a bad shot cause of the tall grass on the sides of the fairways. Will recommend anyone to come and check it out if you are around. Will be back to practice more!
@newpaltzdiscguy
All nine baskets are a par 3 according to the scorecard but the course is a par 29. Doesn't add up. Which holes are fours? I don't know if I birdied bogeyed or what happened at any basket out here. (I mean let's be realistic I don't know if I double bogeyed or triple bogeyed is what I really mean but still I think you get my point.)
@discgolfphoenix
Nice beginner friendly course with all open shots. Easy to navigate. Has great amenities and very family friendly. Not 🐕 friendly.
@therealzach
Open fields, fairways surrounded by thick thorn bushes and high grass. Be aware for ticks and spiders!!!
@pdrogz
Great course, OB needs some cleaning up but love the use of space here
@rdonohue11
They really need to trim back some of the brush off the fairway. It eats discs
@mzweier
This course used to be a solid 2 for me….then they changed the layout. The new layout and signage have drastically improved how much fun this course is. It is not going to be the most exciting course out there but it’s a great way to work out a short little 9 hole practice session. My only real complaint is the OB. The grass is so tall that you better hope you don’t land there. You will spend over a half our sometimes looking for a lost disc. I wish that they would cut it down just a little more.
