@jgarnerd
Beautiful. Lots of up and downs. Short but challenging shots the whole way through. Definitely need a spotter if possible.
@a15sgriggs
This is the first time I’ve ever had fun playing on the side of a sheer cliff. It was a blast! Nearly every hole is reachable with a putter and there are tons of scoring opportunities.
@discgolfphoenix
Ski resort and mountainous DGC. The scenery can’t be beat. The course is not recommended for novice/ inexperienced players. Heavy slopes, rough terrain to traverse, and thick brush. Great Ace runs for experienced players as each hole is 200’ and under.
@creamclanks
Absolutely loved this course! Yea it’s got a lot of short shots but the course has a lot of slopes and danger if you don’t throw the disc right. So even though they’re short, they’re technical as well. I had no complaints, just be ready for a hike though there’s a lot of up and down. Overall I’m thankful for the hard work of the people that put together this course. 👏🏽
@frankfassl
Fun mountain course, most players will only need putters and a mid or two. Some snow on the ground, feel like this course would be a blast in the summer.
@neonknight07
Lots up up and down. Bring a light bag, wear hiking shoes and water! Poke around the rocks for snakes, i spotted one. Be mindful of your reach. Bring one of each disc. There are a variety of throws you can use them for. Fun course!!
@rawdog29
Really no path to walk on. No fairways. Putter mid only, short holes. Hiking boots recommended.
@samsmith
Course is not laid out well, fairways are not well defined and baskets are just placed up on hills and areas that don’t make sense. The course could have been laid out much better with defined fairways. Definitely need a spotter and you go down and then straight up. Most shots are either down hill or up hill. Lots of brush. Good for one experience and after that I would pass.
@brianix
Only skilled players and serious hikers should play. On a mountainside with many blind throws. Lots of vertical climbing and anyone with bad knees, weak ankles, or carts should stay away. Non-existent fairways, just natural (unkempt) bushes/foliage, easy to lose a disc without a spotter, or by overthrowing down the side of the mountain. Plus side, great views up in Bogus Basin.
@cjhenesh27
Ignore negative reviews. This course is fun and quite scenic. It's a hike. Holes are definitely short but not always easy with some technical shots. Can birdie with good shots. Watch your disc because losing a disc is easy.
@dani2918
Course design leaves a lot to be desired. Downhill holes play as short chip shots, but some are blind and many risk losing a disc if you’re long. Uphill holes are mostly blasting something into the hillside backstop. There are trees to navigate, but they don’t often form well defined fairways. Some tees are very slanted. The terrain is very rough, steep, and loose, so be prepared for a hike. I wouldn’t bring a beginner unless they are really up for an adventure. Even good throws can be hard to find because of all of the blind shots and thick brush. There was definitely a lot of work that went into this, and it’s a bummer that the design is lacking. Bogus deserves a great course, and unfortunately this is not it.
@dfuller1149
Very fun course. Mostly short holes under 200 feet, nice paver tee pads and signs on every hole. Many under 125 feet so didn’t touch my drivers much. Thick vegetation but a fun, technical course where a big arm won’t do you much good. Had the course to ourselves too. Early morning to beat the heat is the time to go.
@jaxfan208
Pitch and putt mountain course. Hiking involved. Tee pads and signage. Hole #1 is pretty confusing. Udisc map would be helpful. Throwing past the basket could be bad!
@dmoranfla
Fun mountain course. Lots of ace runs and lots of lurking bogeys if you haven’t had a few rounds in. Don’t throw the back hand turnover on hole 2. It looks like it’s there but it’s not there. You will lose your disc.
