@wanderingdave
Lots of elevation. Shots were well balanced.
@stevenk11
Nice teepads, views and facilities area. Staff all seem super friendly and happy to see people playing. Needs some work, some tree clearing, some hole design touch ups - hole 6 from the longs sucks, there is no line or fairway besides basically throwing it to the short tee pad which is not ideal for a par 3. Hole 9 is fun idea and a side door entry but needs to actually make an entrance. The longs have some unreasonable pars given both the distances and the lines (or lack thereof) but gives you some very interesting shots and fun holes (I’d say more interesting that the shorts even if forget par). The shorts are fun but maybe too many putter holes and then the odd driver. Overall lovely facility that ideally could use some tweaking for some holes. It has the space and geography for a 1000ft hole where you are throwing down a ski run - that would be an instant classic. Closest to this would be 1 and 12 and they are fun but would come here every month if they had a throw down the mountain type hole. Absolutely worth a trip but could use some touch ups to make it a frequent visit.
@eclipse1717
Really nice course! Beautiful views, well signed, and tight fairways!
@can8ianben
Beautiful scenery! Really fun shot shaping. Grass is too long in some areas - especially for a pay-to-play course. The par arrangements need to be adjusted on both the long and short layouts, but that will probably come with time.
@alainmrobert
Amazing course! Traveling through but I’ll be back for sure.
@dannybdg
Beauty course. A lot of unattainable pars based on tee placement and lack of lines but other than that it’s incredible:) highly recommend
@bcnorval
There is poison ivy on the course just off fairway. Wasn’t clear where basket 2 was from tee. The fairways are too wide and very forgiving
@hrafnass
Great course, lots of elevation changes to challenge a different part of the game. Brought my cart, the paths are good to walk, the hills more so the challenge
@turbo14
Ok. Don't love some baskets too hard to birdie.
@trevorharris
Wow, what a course! Played he blue layout and had a blast. So much shot variety and challenge. Be prepared for a hike with lots of hills, but it's so worth it.
@schmitties
Excellent layout and design.
@chedduh
This course has beautiful scenery and the different shot selections is very nice. However for a $15 round I was expecting some sort of maintenance of the tee pads, which there was none. The tee areas were actually really rough and not having footing for any tee shots for very frustrating. I won’t be back until the spring/summer
@andrewkavanagh
Amazing range of elevation changes and challenging wooded shots to contend with. One of the most scenic courses out there. Be sure to stop by the Handlebar before or after the round for a bite or a drink.
@laura2020
Some small trees could be removed form a couple holes but otherwise lovely course
@tribonk
Despite the cost ($15 seems high), this course is another jewel in the crown of courses East of Toronto. Laid out on an old downhill ski course, the designers used the natural layout of the land to create some beautiful fairways. Highly recommended. Hole 12 is a highlight.
@muarkush
Maybe clean up some branches on some holes e.g 18 off the red tee.
@jbunton
Beautiful course. Stunning views and the elevation is really enjoyable to throw on! Amenities are spot on and the upkeep so far is definitely feeling cared for and considered. A couple of holes could use a bit of opening up potentially (hole 6), and it’ll be nice to experience things evolve over the next couple of years. Definitely worth playing, and returning to play.
@smgalbraith
This is Ontario’s Toboggan. Completely unique in the province, and has instantly become one of the best courses in Ontario. Strong recommend. Hope you like big elevation… up and down. The on site restaurant is great, too.
@coreycaplan
Absolute gold jerry
@marlon22
Amazing course. Great views. Interesting shots. So well maintained.
