This is a course that I have wanted to play for many years; when I was a young man and lived in McKinney I used to walk through this course in the late 1980s to get to the recreation center to hang out with friends, I used to tell myself one day I will play disc golf.... Took me about 28 years to finally get around to playing the sport.. Fast forward in life and I find myself in Allen working for the next month and got excited to check out the course of my childhood that sparked The idea to play & I must say this place is absolutely magical to me; I have scored well both times I have played the shorts... Furthermore I'm looking forward to playing the longs while I am here working, SO that being said I can only compare this course to one other course that gives me this feeling & that is the first disc golf course in history, Oak Grove in Pasadena California, such a vibe there that I feel here at Town lake.... πŸ€™πŸΌ πŸŽΆβ›“οΈπŸ₯πŸ’¨πŸ’ͺ🎢 #DiscGolf4Life #RyanO_Disc_Golf

A nice little parks style course where 5+ holes play close to a very steep riverbank where it is very easy to lose discs when the water is high. Solid shot variety, but a few poke and hope holes undermine what is otherwise a fair test. Good baskets and tees. Fair to its 4.3 UDisc rating.

Lots of shade. Creek comes in to play on a few holes. Multiple tee boxes and pin locations. Overall a fun course.

Signage and tee areas could be better. Trees definitely need to be trimmed in spots. Some lines are ridiculously crowded.

Throw both long and accurately: generous tees and secluded parkland welcome golfers to lengthy, advanced level course beside winding creek with plenty of shade from mature trees.

Awesome course design and piece of land. Tee signs are all broken up and vandalized, though. Tee pads are okay, I love how big they are. Overall a fun course but a little upkeep and security would go a long way.

Good course. Lots of diversity. Be careful as water is very deep, very fast, and deceptively close on almost every hole.

Love the course. Almost every shot is in the shade, even when it is 100+ outside.

Course looks shabby and not taken care of. Several fairways are extremely eroded and need attention. . Needs to be mowed badly. Too great of a course and too many good people working for that course to have the city not maintain their part. ☹️
