This course is for masochists or perfectionist. Because one slip up and your legs are going to itch from poison ivy.
@motron
Wet muddy thick in parts. No signs, need app to know where you're going.
@discrabbit
Better shots than Tuthill. Low ratings may be due to painful rough?
@bassface4
The fairways are wonderfully maintained but the second you're off one it's more than just "rough" nothing truly dangerous but lots of thistles and cut down trees hidden among tall grass
@stjerny
Map/holes updated with current active baskets and other optional basket positions. Much easier to track on UDisc now. Definitely don't want to stray off the fairway.
@gloper13
As of Spring 2025 the course is being redesigned and combined with Spenser. Cannot rely on Udisc. Would not recommend.
@kencoon
The only “upkeep” on this course is the fairways. If you land 1 foot off the fairway, good luck finding your disc in the jungle!!! I highly recommend bright colored, not blue or green discs. And wear pants if you have to go searching. And probably bring a pole or stick to wack away the thick coverings of greenery 👎🏼👎🏼
@wdavis4
I enjoyed this track and the large trees throughout the course. Playing it at this time of yr, the vegetation wasn’t an issue but I could see how it would be if it wasn’t kept trimmed. No tee signs, but can follow using UDisc. Looks like it’s still a work in progress with flags and such, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
@prodnezy
Course is severely overgrown. If you're off the "fairway" by 3 feet you might as well flip a coin on whether or not you'll find your disc. Spencer/tomar has the potential and foundation to be one of the best courses in the state, but falls well short (from my understanding) due to the City's strict rules on general maintenance. Seems like the only time this course is remotely enjoyable would be very early spring or late fall.
@kirbywillats
Best this course has looked in years! Every hole has concrete pads and a basket. UDisc layout needs to be edited for accurate distances/layout, but the current one leads you in the right direction. The course can provide some challenging, low ceiling, tight wooded shots but still has some tall grass rough in some spots. If you have played it in the past 4 years, this is not the same Tomar. (Thank goodness!)
@discance
Course seems only half finished: Do not play until itch weeds are cleared out. No signage, missing baskets, and needs to be cleared of all the weeds before it’s a worthwhile course. Only redeeming factor is some new-ish poured tee pads.
@tmag222
The 9 hole map is wrong
@jdeal2009
Course could really use some tee signs and basket directors. Would not be a fun place if the ground is wet, but some of the holes are fun. If you land in the rough it might be hard to find your disc and you better hope you have pants on because it's almost all poison.
@aarondbuzzz
Fun course, it's rough but the 7 tees and baskets are a good challenge. Cleaner than last year when I played. Still needs a lot of TLC
@ghettodrank
Cleaned up significantly since I played last year. Lots of fun shots. Worth a play.
@houseap
A little rough right now. A few weekends clearing out this spring will make this a wonderful complement to the length of Spencer. It would be a great 18. But right now it has a pad and 7 baskets in between is rough. The fall has helped killing all the weeds and thistles
