About the course

Tom Monroe Memorial Disc Golf Course is located on the McFadden Nature Center property. It boast of a good mix of open and wooded holes giving the player plenty of challenge while enjoying the beauty of South West Ga countryside. This is a private property that has a $5 parking fee when using any of the property's amenities. You can rent one of the many electric golf carts at additional cost for a half day or a whole day if a lot of golf is what you want.

There is ADA compliant parking spaces with the front 9 being the easiest to play. The back 9 especially holes 11 thru 15 have elevation changes that would make even motorized scooters discouraged.

It's a longer, challenging course, but renting a golf cart helps out a lot and keeps you fresh through the whole course. The wind can really get up out there, so stay on your a game with wind management.

Fun track. One of the last, if not the last, Tom Monroe designed courses with a few holes that have been reworked. Mostly open with a good mix of a couple wooded holes. Golf carts are also available for rent. Its worth playing if you want to make a trip. I would avoid a super hot day, especially if you walk the course, though the carts make it much nicer! Plenty of holes to air some shots out.
