@dustinbcastle
Good mix of shot shapes. Without the app it'd be hard to find your way around. Bring bug spray!
@negley
Fun technical shots, just needs a little more upkeep.
@cujo93830
Dangerous concrete pads. Poured too short and all are ACL and MCL tears waiting to happen. Each pad has a 3-4 inch drop off. These need leveled in front. Ridiculous to pour pads like this.
@willcrawford04
Best course in the area!! Good variety of shot shapes and styles. Doesn’t give advantages or disadvantages to forehand only or backhand only players. Compared to other Tupelo area courses, where everything is either pitch and putt or overgrown, this is one of the only courses that challenges my game. And its nice to have a new course that is still being worked on consistently, rather than something 10 years ago and forgot about. As someone that lives in Saltillo, It’s not only convenient, but truly a great course.
@kd5jha
Course is still under final stages of construction improvements as of 12/24. Concrete Tee Pads are installed now on all holes and 6 holes have Pro Tees. There are some nice tight technical fairways here with OB down the side and some Holes with very well protected baskets. Several nice Par 4 holes and if you are playing from the Pro Tees (also concrete) then I think most anyone will have some challenging fun. Its a wooded course design with only 3 or 4 open holes so if you are a rife beginner like me you may get frustrated losing your disc in the deep ditches and “chopping wood” for most of the round. But as an inexperienced player myself I look at a challenge as a way to improve faster. This is one of my favorite North MS courses to play for several reasons including that the trees on 90% of the course really block the wind that I still have trouble with fighting. When they finally get course maps and tee box signs up I will change my overall rating to at least a 4 because all that is coming I am sure. Because the new pads just went in I am sure they will be cleaning up around them as time permits to smooth out the soil and make things nicer. Everything in time. Very excited to see a course this nice in Saltillo,MS I am sure in a couple years everything will be tip top and ready for a tournament.
@wrath557
Fun course with lots of shots varieties. Udisc is your friend, needs signage to help navigate the course. .
@all4damon
Best wooded course around. Def keep your drivers at home. Fun layout and design.
@willallen35
This is a good course, pretty challenging. Hardest thing to do is figure out where the next tee pad is.
@colbyjackd
Pretty good course that will get even better with teepads. The tee areas are better than expected though. Never felt like I was on a slope or didn’t have enough room and personally didn’t slip despite a lot of rain recently. Bring bug spray. Not the biggest fan of hole 1 or the distance between some of the holes but it’s a great use of the available space
@wrwtennis11
Once “beaten in” it’s going to be an incredible course! Very challenging lines with distance. Really miss some of the old holes from the original layout…
@shick329
Fun technical course. It’s still under construction and when finished will be a top course. Signs and concrete pads are in the making. Benches would be a great addition. Surprisingly dry after all this rain we’ve had.
@jarebare2019
New course in great condition. Tight lines but rewarding when thrown correctly and accurate. Very fun course yet challenging. Ran into course designer and he showed me the new tee signs that are in the making, A+ on what he showed me. Udisc is very accurate though for current navigation. Currently has good turf tee pads but concrete are on the way. Overall an excellent course, will be top 2 or 3 in the area for years to come.. one addition would be decent benches..
@jbstricklin
Great course
@bogeymaster23
Definitely challenging for sure and lots of space to lay up
@shanepriest
Great addition to our local area courses, this is a fun and challenging course but rewarding if you can hit your lines! Excited about what it will become this spring as the tee pads and signage is put in place. Grow the sport! Shout out to Kevin White for designing this course. 👏
@yonderroman
Top notch addition to the area. Plenty of challenging shots and tight fairways that make hitting your line really satisfying. Super excited to play once pads and tee signs are installed.
@figgymane
Great design! Can’t wait to see what it’s like when it’s finished.
@jeffnock04
Great course, still under construction but it’s gonna be awesome once the tee pads are in.
