As a regular visitor to Silver Star, this is a wonderful addition and thank you to those to put in the effort to make it happen! The targets could use an upgrade and the tee pads could definitely be improved, but otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my round. I sense the course designer is either a lefty or forehand dominant player, as many of the holes leaned that way with the basket on the right. Not a complaint - just an observation. However, as a backhand dominant player, I didn’t like the pad placement on Hole 6. Yes, you’re encouraging a forehand shot… but it shouldn’t come as the cost of injury to a backhand player. I suggest moving the pad back a few feet so the rock isn’t directly in the throwing plane.

Super fun course, short shots through some trees. If you’re playing the classic layout, it is fairly simple to find the baskets and they are well marked. The back 9 is a creative mix of tee pads and baskets from the front 9. Best to use the UDisc map to locate baskets. Hole 11 uses Hole 2 basket, but not quite mapped properly on here. Worth checking out if you’re up at the hill

Parking lot E is on the right side, parkoutside the yellow gate, walk down the road on the far right the park starts, walk to the lowest area to find hole one. Holes are not clearly marked but all line up nice to the tees. Lovely course once to get your bearings. Bring your phone for hole and tee location, I did not.

I enjoyed the course! It's an awesome spot for disc golf! It has decent shot variety and fun lines. Only one long shot at 270ft. All the others are below 250ft. Great course for begginers and yet still can be fun for advance/intermediate players. I love the baskets and how unique they are. Im very suprized by how well the chains catch the discs! Some are better then others. Some you have to be at the right angle to aim for the chains. Some of the best home made basket I have played on though! The course has rock paths to take to the next hole and some arrows on the ground. Tees are msrked with rocks around it and painted numbers on a rock. I do think hole 3 or hole 4 should be hole 1 as it's closest to the parking lot. Great start to the course 👍
