If this course had mowed trails and greens, and 18 turf tee pads (the few that exist are awesome) it would be the best course in Southern California. As it stands it is beautiful and challenging— but it is frustrating to put down your bag and go disc hunting in the middle of the fairway. UDisc is essential, the next tee is often out of sight.

Course could be great if there was time invested in cleaning up just the fairways. Tall grass makes it easy to lose discs that are in the center of the fairway. On a positive note, holes are pretty fun and challenging compared to most SoCal courses.

High level course. Beginners and players not used to playing in the trees will find it rough! Awesome for experienced players!

Just needs weed abatement. The course isn't played enough for trails to be cut from the T to the basket. Definitely a beautiful course. Bring your A game, lots of shot shaping. I will definitely be comings back!

Very challenging course. Great mountain golf. Certainly the hardest in SoCal.

This course may be on a “Christian Campground”, but it is guaranteed to put you through hell. Stickers galore, wear long pants, incredibly sophisticated shot layout, amazingly technical, super dusty.. I’d recommend if you’re in the area, give it a go, but just prepare yourself. Bring lots of water, and your A-game.

Up and down hills at 4840 ft elevation. Played upper course then 9 holes of this one. A lot of small diameter 6 inch stumps make quite a tripping hazard..

Course was super fun, hardest course in Southern California. Pars feel like birdies. Staff at the check in was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Bring extra water.

One if the best courses in so cal! Technical, great mixture of distances and elevation change. Foliage is the most diverse I’ve seen.

Playing in the dreamy green month of May was terrific. Enjoyed it much more than the upper course. Longer holes but the par 4s allow a lower score for above average arms. Hole 11 is one of the most diabolical fantastic holes I've played. Thousand Pines is a special property and with the continous improvements being made with turf teepads, cleaning of fairways, log seats at teepads, its a true gem of a course for SoCal.
